I actually thought the same thing when I got the car and found out it had AHC which works all the time will change out when the system goes, I do notice it working alot, but so far so good, Ironman will be a good choice but I hope the AHC will keep on trucking. Got a Sunroof issue does not go to full seal when sliding forward? getting water in the front passenger foot well pretty sure waters coming from sunroof. Abs Lights are on. I changed the Clock Spiral cable which affected the horn, Airbag light was on and the cruise control. Otherwise I do now understand completely how everyone loves these trucks, but small small issues if not addressed will pile up to something big if not taken care of!

A little time with the polisher...

Thanks Rally. The bumper's coming off next week - a Dissent Offroad winch bumper is replacing it. Oh, and I may have rubbed some of that shine off today ;-)

Was having balance problems with the 35" toyos. So I swapped them for some 275/70/18 and the tundra wheels. After a year and about 15k miles on the 315s les Schwab swapped all 5 tires for $250 out of my pocket!
I decided to go a little smaller with the ats and will likely buy a set of 35" mud tires to mount on the old wheels. The 275s measure 33.2x10". I really like how it drives with the 33s and the 4.88 gears!

damnit benc, i just got my rock warriors and i'm loving those wheels you just put on! when i get a second set of wheels it'll be those or the 200 series wheels. are those LTX ATs? and did you need a spacer, like the RWs do?

^^
Those are the open country at2s. I'm not sure if you need the spacers or not. I already had the spacers on and did not try them without. But with the spacers the center caps fit.

@benc Out of curiosity what is your RPM at 60 now? 70? I know little about gearing

Got busy on labor day checking off almost all of my to do's. Changed front, center and rear diff oils- definitely recommend putting the truck on jack stands and using a pump. Replaced air filter with a K&N drop in, cleaned MAF and throttle body using CRC MAF and TB cleaners (HOLY MOLY what a difference). Replaced the APPS sensor to eliminate those pesky "limp mode" CEL's. Put even MORE grease into the driveline (this keeps improving over time). Installed cabin air filters and programmed a spare key. Only thing that escaped me was the hose T's and rattle cat but those should be done soon.

The FAQ here is amazing and I couldn't/wouldn't have done any of the above without all the awesome write ups. Thank you to everyone who contributed to these posts and if anyone has any questions about anything I mentioned above, I'm happy to help. Save some money, do it yourself.

Love it! I'm super duper happy with mine! Glad to meet you guys up at HIH5....still haven't seen you in the city street of boulder! LOL.

Finally installed the last bit of bounty from #100sintheHills, a light bar included with the Gamiviti rack, specially designed rack (installed prior to leaving 100s in the dark and rain) to fit a 39" light bar. The rack is brilliant with sunroof cutout, full expo, light tabs front and rear, tie down tabs, rear 1/4 basket, quick release fairing that hides the light bar. I already owned a 3/4 expo Gamiviti and was super happy. This new version is top notch. @nakman produces high quality racks. Highly recommend. View attachment 1125665 View attachment 1125667

Gave it a nice spa treatment late this afternoon and now looking for a decent set of snow tires for my old 16s.

Turned 100,000 yesterday. So, how does one celebrate such a milestone with a Land Cruiser?

Some 'wheeling...

Side note: I have a client who details and refinishes high-end cars (my 100 was next to a Lamborghini, GT-R and Ferrari)... We went to lunch, did some work... Little did I know what the guys were doing to my 100 while it was there.
