This is a 6mph crash. That hi lift is directly behind the headrests, and the headrests are in the lowest position. Again, IMO, super scary and seems very dangerous.

I would agree. Storing items behind your head is the last option I would choose. In addition to the video posted, another concern is how things "become a projectile" in an accident of any appreciable speed.

For the same reason, I'm not a fan of dogs loose in cars. They need to be properly secured in a crate. Different issue, similar idea...

Not trying to be critical, just concerned for everyone's safety.

Found a 32" light bar on eBay for $25 shipped and installed it, for the price I'm very impressed. Has a 2 year warranty, hopefully it holds up.

toyotaonlineparts.com consistently gives me the lowest prices when I'm looking for OEM parts.

Installed a new radio. Vx404. Ordered from crutchfield. Free shipping and installed with harness kit easy cheesy.
How was the fit? Crutch shows no longer available. I bet they have the next high quality model if only I could figure out what it is. I need a device that installs clean and does android instead of iPhone

Took it to Murf today for a little check up and to get a tint before summer.

Just dropped it off at my Toyota Master Mechanic friend's house for the timing belt / water pump (@ 100k miles).

New Kenwood DDX371 head unit installed today with a friend.

Waiting for another weekend when I can pull my door panels off and replace my speakers.

How do you like that? I have the same model en route to my house now. Any fitment issues or anything you would've done differently? Also, when you hop in the truck will it automatically connect to your Bluetooth or do you have to go through the connecting sequence every time?

Just installed so still getting used to it. Installation was pretty straightforward, Crutchfield supplied the correct wiring harnesses and all it required was a little splicing and soldering.

Sound quality is actually pretty good with my stock amp and speakers which are getting replaced hopefully next weekend when I have more time.

Fitment is good, it does protrude a little from the center stack but not enough to make it look like a hack job. Wiring behind is kinda tight but manageable.

From what I've seen so far, Bluetooth automatically will connect to my phone every time.

Gonna live with it for awhile and see!

Thanks for the post. Getting a bit higher end Kenwood installed tomorrow

Just did a 1700 mile road trip in my LC 100...mileage is now 207,000 plus, and she performed flawlessly! Did notice a bit too much sway in the front end, so just checked the end links, and they were pretty loose....about 7 turns of a ratchet. Just did a test drive, and we are back to normal! Also replaced the front fog lights. Next is a repaint of the front bumper, and waiting on the new group buy to deliver on the headlights.
