What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (45 Viewers)

Time will tell. I've only driven on them to and from the alignment shop where the "technician" after making me wait 2 hours, returned the truck to me still out of spec according to his printout. When I complained and refused to pay, he told me caster adjustment within spec was not just impossible, but unnecessary. Hmmmm.

Upon further inspection of the results, he was using specs from a 200 series. Pathetic. I'll head to another shop next week, but a my numbers (both before and after the "alignment" this guy did) look pretty close to the 100 series specs.

I found a news camera.

If that's real, that's awesome.

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD while navigating gnarly trail. Typos are inherent.

I just spent the better part of four hours removing two rusted 22mm nuts off the top my rear shocks. Who in the heck puts that many threads in such a f-ing tight space. Geez.

Tired of the stock Corolla horn eh? Ha

'xactly!

Should have done this years ago.

Still waiting to get them, I'll post up after they're installed.

But you can click the link in my post above and listen to the video in the thread.

Sound better than the Corolla horn the 100s came with IMO.

Finally got around to relocating my backup camera into my tire swing out. Used Slee's bracket. Glad to have it back after a few months of looking at the backside of the spare tire. Paflytyer's write up was awesome. Piece of cake.

Added timbrens all around and installed poly bushings on front sway bar. Anxious to try the timbrens on some whoop tees.

Removed the running boards today

Promptly fell out of the cruiser the first time I got out without the running boards. Must have looked pretty funny....

Also removed the plastic sunroof wind deflector. Those things are worthless.

What color was this Nick? Looks sexy.

I used charcoal grey metallic (AA9,PA9). It's a OEM Chrysler color. 3 coats of primer, stepping up from 400 to 1000 grit. Laid 3 light coats of the paint down, and 3 coats of high gloss clear. It came out pretty damn good for $12 with supplies to spare.

Finished mounting and hooking up both led cubes from Nick, wired into the reverse lights and into a switch in the cabin.

They are...bright.
