So with that padding I'm guessing you won't be able to feel your bun warmers? Or do you think the heat would still permeate through? I'd love some fresh seats up front and some more cushion, but I'm all about the bun warmers in winter. They look REALLY tight though, like they're not even there!

It's hard to say. It's been in the 70's all week, so I can't (and won't!) test them out. I'll go out tonight after a beer or 5 and test them. I don't think they will block out the bun warmers, but you may be right. That padding may make them less effective. I rarely use mine anyways.

Seat covers, turned out great!

Awesome! I ordered these last week in gray for my newly acquired 1998 TLC, dark green (not a fan), rough paint and interior, rear differential locker, 225000 miles, and all routine maintenance documented. The maintenance and amazing mechanical test drive is what sold me. And it was CHEAP!
I can't wait to get these covers on the seats! Looks good 2kuzj.

Inspect the stitching before you install them. The passenger side seat stitching wasn't very strong, when I stretched it over the seat (they are tight!) the stitching popped. I sent an email with pictures, so hopefully they can send me a replacement. The color is spot on too, I was expecting it to be a shade lighter, or darker. It's a perfect match.

Does this qualify?

Thanks. I am ok. The thing that I remember feeling the most was dropping myself on my head after releasing the seatbelt.

I'm glad you're OK. What happened? You have a beautiful 100! :(

More like 'had'. LX is in bad shape. A late 90's Honda Acord, of all things, got underneath the sliders on the passenger side and up and over I went. I almost felt as if I could have recovered when I was up on 2 wheels, but it all happened pretty fast.

Glad you’re ok , that’s all it matters . im sure you can find another LX

Scary looking scene. Glad that you are ok. I am sure that you will be able to find another LX/LC.

Do you have a picture of the other side?
How destructed is the roof. So how strong is the
Toyo- Roof?

Mike

Wow sorry for your loss. I can't believe this, Honda Accord took-out a beloved 100 series, and how can this be.

Do you think things would have been different without the 100 being all armor up?

We must have more pictures of the....

Wow! Glad you're ok. Certainly looks like you're lucky. What are the details?

I bet the Accord looks like an elephant stomped it.

Nah, look at the second pic in the link. Looks like the Accord clipped the LX on the Passenger Side Slider as the LX was passing through the intersetion. Rear end of LX swings around and the driver rear tire catches that curb. At that point, it tips and rolls onto driver side, then over to the roof. LX is now upside down and pointing almost 180-degrees from the original orientation. It's the curb that killed it via a little sideways momentum much moreso than the impact force with the accord.

^ Per the accident report :flipoff2:

I got my 100k pm done, my 270 amp alternator installed, ( had to grind some powersteeing pump bracket for it to fit.) Ran 2/0 gauge from the main batt to the alternator with a 300 amp fuse. I got my 1000/2000 psw inverter wired up, remounted my awning, roof rack, high lift jack, mounted my cobra 75 cb with a 4ft firestick in the ironman deluxe combo bar mount.

Leaving tomorrow am to take my boys camping in or around moab. (I was originally doing the grand canyon, petrified forest, etc on the way to albq.NM. Thanks to congress that trip is over.... so now Moab it is.)

Anyone have any good places to see, do or camp in an unlifted 100 with sliders????

Just installed a 7pin trailer plug and brake controller with dedicated circuits to the battery. Also mounted the brake controller in place of the ashtray.
