The covers look really good. Would you mind sharing how much you paid for them? Why did you have to wait so long? Is that their standard leadtime or was there some other issue or delay?

You should have no problem finding a local upholstery shop who can modify that middle headrest for you. Drop off the cover, the actual headrest and a few bucks and I'm sure they'll take care of you. Shouldn't take them more than a couple minutes.

This weekend I want to do the stretch kit on my Hundy...

They do look good, seeing that you are in Houston like I am, let me know how the swamp ass factor goes.

Thanks so much. They actually withstood some grueling tests: The beach, five soaking wet kids, some drinks that I purposely spilled, the heat and a ton of sand. They actually clean pretty well I might add. I'm pretty impressed aside from the fit issues that I mentioned before.

I had to wait due to lead time. Once you pick your colors, they send a sample. Once approved they go ahead with your order. I'm sure the actual work isn't long, but it could be due to the somewhat personalized seats that I got: three complete rows, piping, front seat pockets on rear of seat and "gun pockets" on the front two seats.

I paid a pretty penny for them. I'm sure I could've gotten away with paying half of what I did had I not got them so "custom." They're worth every penny so far though. One thing I love about them is that there is no longer a worry about hot ******* leather anymore. The waterproof neoprene is so comfy and much cooler than leather any day. They're from Hawaii (but made in California) so I figured they'd be good.

Day 1: Wet Okole seat covers

Grade: A-

Withstood five soaked kids, water bottles spilling, breakfast sandwiches, the heat and a ton of sand. Overall, I'm impressed aside from the fit issues that I mentioned before. So far they've been worth every penny.

That's cool. Just watched the video on it from their site. Too bad it's only available for the engine oil. I'd like one for the diff, etc. I hate seeing these things and then saying,"Why didn't I think of that?" Great add brother. Which model did you get? I saw there are a couple to choose from.

It's the F-103 model, I would like to find one for the transmission drain as well

I wonder if one for the diff and/or the tranny would be exposed to being knocked off if not properly covered by a skid or something of that nature.

Any thing small and not covered will get knocked off if not covered. They are well protected for light wheeling, but I've scraped a lot of stuff, I have a huge scar on my t-case from a rock getting up in there. It was a funky angle.

I've got Slee full skids. I wonder if that would protect one on the transfer case. I hate not being able to find a skid for the diff though. It'd be awesome if there were one.

They also have valves with hose bibs so you can route your motor oil through skids. This was a huge time saver on my Tacoma because the drain shoots sideways all over the plates so the plates had to come off for oil changes. At least on the LC the oil drain shoots straight down. Still a great feature.
Not sure it would be as good for the T-case as it's a thicker lube and the reduced valve diameter would prevent total drainage as that drain is pointed at the rear of the truck, the valve would be safe from rocks on the T-case though and well protected by the skids. I don't know if they make a valve with big enough threads for it so you may need an adapter.
The rear diff drain points down so on the rear diff it would get rocked in no time.
