I wouldn't keep driving if its grinding.

I have to, it's my only mode of transportation  also, just got back from ACC and I need to replace both my CV axles and get a new steering rack. So that's what's new for me this week... :bang:

Maybe you should start taking things apart and going 2wd until you get it fixed? Driving while compromised is dangerous to you and everyone else on the road.

Glad they are getting experience with 100 series racks. They'll be able to do mine in their sleep when the time arrives.

So that was YOUR steering rack that they had in the shop... They almost put that straight in my truck this morning :p but I had to consult my parents before making an executive decision about confirming what repairs to have done. SO the rack is still yours and I'm having a different one put in :D

replaced my low beams with some Phillips 55W Visions.. what an improvement!!!

Washed it in the rain. A good hard rain is the best spot-free rinse ever. I also noticed the white lettering on the tires is perfectly matched up front and rear. That never happens.

Black outside matches perfectly all the time :flipoff2:

Spent some time and tons of energy doing the front CV joint rebuilds, replaced both upper control arms, both lower balls joints, both seals in the front diff, added some Mobil 1 gear lube to deal with what had obviously leaked. Oh, and had the front end alligned afterwards. Tracks nice now, no vibrations, no issues, at least so far.I was surprised how easy the CV joint rebuild was once I had em out. Hell, that may have been the easiet part or it all. I went with factory uppers and then found Metal Tech had the Total Chaos on sale for less than $45 more than I spend with Cruiser Dan for the factory parts. I guess if these last as long as the originals I can't complain,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,toooo much.

The rebuild isn't bad if you have a vice or something to hold the shaft as you put it back together. It's a mother bear to try solo on the ground, grease goes everywhere except into the joint.
