I did a MPG calculation using the "gas station method" for the 03 LC recently.
Earlier ODO reading xxx324
ODO reading during last fill up xxx641
Gas purchase = 21.92 gal ($82)
Total miles = 317
MPG= 14.46
My tires are 265/75R17 (Dunlop)
Vehicle is all stock

Vacummed and detailed it, checked all fluids, topped it off with gas in prep for the 6 hour drive to the beach with the family.

even with all the 4 month old baby and 3 year old girl beach gear/baby junk the cargo area isn't full....amazing

isnt the stock tire size is 275/70/16?

Thanks! I have probably 1,000 feet of it sitting in spools downstairs. I figured they wrap breaker bars, knifes, brooms, anything that sees a lot of direct hand contact and its fairly comfortable. I googled it and a few have done steering wheels. I finished the rest this morning and it feels great. I'm going to practice on a bunch of broom handles and re-wrap it with the spokes fully covered. I do love the color, it fits the 100 very well. It certainly isn't perfect, but this being my first time ever wrapping something, I think I did alright.

Sweet, Different is good! I like.

Engraved a pair of projector lens for the headlights.

Had intermittent power windows, found the problem to be the same as described in this thread. I didn't use JB weld, I crazy glued some metal strapping to the cracked area. Switches feel brand new and work perfect. Here is a before picture, forgot to take an after

Bought it! Now, our 80, "Bruiser", has a sister, "Charlize". I also have twice the cruiser stuff to surf and keep me from doing otherwise productive stuff.

White Knuckle off road sliders

I will admit that I don't like to do any mods until I KNOW I need them - well my last visit to Death Valley left me with enough damage to my running boards that I knew it was time for sliders. I arranged to pick up a pair from John of White Knuckle Off Road on a Friday when I knew I would be traveling near his shop, saving the shipping fee. I painted them with Super Spec HP® Urethane Alkyd Gloss Enamel P22 (super hard, no primer required) paint - but the color I chose is a little blue for my taste, but I suspect I will learn to love it (or love the fact it is already done!).

BTW - the sliders seem very well made, are very easy to install, and John could not be a nicer guy.

Any pics of the rivets on the correct install? I've always wondered what the real fix looks like. Did you go with Toyota glass?

Reprogrammed auto door locks to modes 2 and 4. Truly a life-changer!

Added a rotopax mount for the inside of my Slee ladder. It holds my 2 gallon water pax perfectly.

Washed the underside of the car.

New boots on the front...they were looking rough and couldn't of had much grease left in them.

Toyota did a good job on them though. Should be good for another 90-100k. Also had an alignment done since I cranked the t-bars recently and it's amazing the difference in driving her around now. I didn't have time to get the alignment done right away so drove her around for a bit...she was a bit hard to control. Straight as an arrow now, and no more stink bug. :)

Here you go. Better pictures of where I cut.

Thanks for posting these pics. I've been thinking about doing this but have been reluctant with the Reese hitch and OEM spare. In my case it wouldn't look right. Wish that weren't the case though.

The factory Tupperware looks much better after your mod.

This.

Included the water pump and all of the other customary things associated with it. Thanks to this group and ntsaint for his recommend work list thread.

Also figured out the double-pump break pedal thing. They found one caliper frozen. New guide pins and caliper mounts for the rear.

No on both counts.

If I didn't have the install done in my driveway I would have done a little leg work to see what it would take to return it to OEM (e.g. rivets). As it is, I'm probably going to change insurance just to get a glass policy and the next time it needs to be replaced, go w/ Toyota glass.
