Got to try out the new toys. Worked all week to build out what I'll call a "light duty expedition setup." Includes rear cargo storage, installed IBS DBS, wired for electronics, installed TJM tent and awning... More details to follow in a future thread...

Replaced the power steering supply and return lines. I used 3/8" and 5/8" trans cooler lines with OEM constant tension clamps.

Good idea. Mine persistently leak.

My OCD grew tired of seeing mine leak, so I finally swapped them out. I swear mine started leaking when I flushed the system over to Mobil 1 ATF, but more than likely it was from disrupting the original hardened hoses.

Greased driveshaft. Chased down an odd popping noise that was sporadic ( sometimes turning, sometimes flexed, sometimes straight). Checked front sway bar as I refurbed it 5k ago. 3 of four bolts had worked loose from frame.....rechecked and tightened where needed.

Supra and Oregon....my power steering fluid is good and holding steady but I can see where an old leak was. Your comments make me want to just let her be until I get any fluid lose!

So I finally removed the 3rd row seats. And the difference is unbelievable . the feel the car turn much easier, accelerate faster !! is it me or it makes that much difference ? btw how much do they weight to be exact? they were so heavy :wrench::cheers::beer:

They're probably 60 lbs each. So 120/6000 lbs = 2% decrease in weight. Not something I would think you can feel in acceleration.

Don't forget the covers on the bottom of the 3rd row...to cover the holes in the floor.

I replaced my passenger side view mirror that my dad broke off when I let him drive my truck... it was easy replacement. you don't even have to remove the whole door panel, just the tweeter cover.

Almost had another truck hit my tail gate when it was open. It sat idle for a bit so all the lights turned off. So I added some reflective tape.

I removed the 2nd row and built a place to sleep. Bolts in and out in 2 minutes so I can use it as needed. I just leave the cargo piece in place now and added a bunch of tie downs for fridge and gear.

rattle-canned the wheels flat black...and I love them!

Nice. I did my wheels and sombreros the same way. The paint job has held up extremely well despite my expectations of having to touch them up after long off road trips. They haven't so much as chipped in almost two years. I guess it all comes down to prep work.

Leveled the front end, got my windows tinted with ceramic film, put on tundra 18"s, and plasti dip the grill and Toyota emblem.

Installed the new slee stepsliders. Had to do it solo. Bit of a pain without help but they're on and wonderful. New windshield. Found some grease spitting from driver side cv. next fix...
