Mudflap eliminators coated! Hope to get them installed soon.

For anyone in NM, Absolute Powder Coat in Albuquerque did a great job and one of the guys at the shop has a decked-out 100.

Welp not even a month after getting my front bearings repacked and needing a new steering pump since the old one started to leak badly...the brake master decided to bless me with a leak as well..was debating doing a rebuilt one but if the original lasted almost 30 years why not start fresh..crazy to think how expensive these things are..sure looks good tho

what did this run you?

I've been playing around with 3D printing since picking up a Bambu P1S last fall, and finally got around to mounting my switch panel in the LX:

This was obviously heavily inspired by @BenCC 's parts, but the homelink mini slot makes precise mounting position/angle challenging so I wanted to go custom. I'm also using a knock-off switch pod which has different mounts than the S-pod/Auxbeam/etc. Now I just need more things to control with all those switches...

Also started to organize my whole toolbox. Gridfinity for the win!

Wish I saw this earlier. I have a 8-button aux beam and I just drilled holes in the existing panel. Go in business! I need a 8!

Long time lurker and this week with my 100Series, I acquired one and then put wheels on it because it was cheaper for me to replace them than tires. I had tires from my wife's 5th gen 4Runner. Plenty more to come as well.
Nomad Convoy in 17x8.5 0 offset(waiting on proper center caps). I know the offset is not ideal, but no rubbing with a 265/70R17 Grabber A/TX. Next, I will be removing the pods on the hood and getting the seats reupholstered.

Replaced the bank 1 downstream 02 sensor on our ‘04–hoping that resolves our CEL issue. The P0430 became a P0420 after I swapped the sensors so I hope this does the trick. Sensor was under a year old….weird.

Also replaced the disgusting engine air filter—the Blackstone oil analysis report suggested that a dirty filter could be causing one reading that was a bit high…turns out one should change these more often than every 40k miles, especially if those miles include a lot of off road driving in Europe and Morocco…

Also placed my first Amayama order and got a CD magazine for our JDM 100. It occurred to me after I verified it works that it’s probably the same as what’s in the US pre-facelift models (it has strange trays that pull all the way out), but it does have a lot of writing on it I don’t understand, so that’s kind of cool. And the music sound great, and I hung on to my hundreds of cds despite not using them for years and years, so this could be fun.

First batch of 100 series BBK sets came in today from Thailand. Slight delay due to the change of rates in tariffs and logistic requirements but they’re stateside now. Cerakoatedd 6-piston forged monoblock front caliper.

Box of donut next to it for scale. This is matched with a front and rear 355mm full-floater disc rotors. I didn’t went for the carbon ceramic rotors yet but will consider it in the next few years.

Re-torque valve cover bolts, cleaned throttle body and bottom of air box, replace positive battery terminal and greased battery posts.

Gonna need the details on this!

Customizable caliper color.
6-piston front forged aluminum mono-block caliper with outer bleed valve.
4-piston front forged aluminum mono-block caliper with outer bleed valve.
Extended teflon-shielded stainless steel braided brake lines.
Sport brake pads 700°C heat rating F&R.
Front brake pads +115% surface area vs. OEM.
Rear brake pads +92% surface area vs. OEM.

How much does the brake bias get affected?
Was that even taken into consideration? (99.9% of people don't even consider this)

Designed and 3D printed a mount for the new Auxbeam slim switch panel as I wasn’t the biggest fan of the chunky rectangle panels.

Completed my headlight retrofits using bixenon projectors and an Auxbeam light in place of the high beam. Designed and printed an alignment jig and mount to make it happen using stock holes on the rear of the lights.

Also designed and printed an adaptor for my ram mount that lets me charge my phone with a ball-mount MagSafe charger, infinitely more convenient than the regular ram mount holder.

Got in my custom sticker design and slapped it on the bumper.

Our r&d for this kit started around 7 yrs ago with the objective of a few fundamental things, plug and play and still tuneable for owners who knows to adjust the brake proportioning as well. The factory brake bias (approximately 70% front, 30% rear) for this BBK is optional but not required.

Small job but satisfying. I no longer have to open the door to grab the buckle to put on my seatbelt.

I slipped a bit with the soldering iron, but no one will notice unless they see this photo.
