I repaired a small hole in the rear section of our frame, descaled, sanded and treated the rear end area of our cruiser with rust converter and then a top coat. I also replaced all of the bumper filler pieces. No change to the outside appearance, but definitely a satisfying job.

I killed it. Iciest roads I've ever seen in Evergreen, CO. Slid, overcorrected, and flipped it into a ditch. Crawled out through a window and did the walk of shame back home. It happened about 1/4 mile from my home.

I was unharmed other than a few very minor scratches and a slightly sore neck, likely from tensing up. Unfortunately, my LC is dead.

Bummer...sorry for your loss.
Probably should go get that neck looked at though...serious opportunity cost to finding out way later that something got damaged.

Glad you're otherwise okay.

Wow glad you're OK.

5 years 11 months and 35k miles later I thought it’s time again to get the AHC system a refresh, ride is still plush but why not. Got around to install my wireless 4-channel switch unit as well for my lights.

Happy to hear you walked away unharmed. I was just down the road from you and it was very sketch out that day.
Everyone was unprepared for the snow fall and the rapid temp drop. I've been driving around here for a while in a variety
of conditions and I have to say that for whatever reason this was the worst my LX handled it.

Added in a Redarc battery isolator into the charging wire to my BCDC charger for the “house” battery…..I should have done it in the beginning….but didn’t. Now we’re good to go!!

#1: glad you're alive!
#2: your LC appears to be identifying as a Jeep. Might want to have that looked at.

Can confirm Ridies will completely ghost you when it comes to warranty. Take home message is perforated does not hold up and Ridies customer service is total garbage.

I was doing some more Googling and found a detailed record of the same type of crappy experience on a Corvette forum.

Based on the snide emails I got from Ridies and the other evidence of warranty issues, I'm going to pony up $700 for a pair of leather (seating surface) / vinyl (everywhere else) seat covers from LeatherSeats.com. They are made in the USA and the company has great reviews and a 3-year warranty. I got a set of samples from them and they also have a perfect match, although the actual leather itself didn't appear much different than the Ridies leather. Perhaps the worksmanship is better.

You're ok, that's all that really matters.
