How the heck can they sell them so cheap? They are almost 2/3 cheaper than other vendors for the Sankei 555 control arms. Quality is apparently very high on these.

At $65 each, total replacement is a no brainer compared to changing just the ball joints.
I already ordered 2. And they appear to ship from Dallas warehouse so I’ll get them today. I’ll take some pics and share when I get them.

I’m installing mine today, they are legit and great price! I figured buy with PayPal for protection in case it was a counterfeit part.

Fyi had to hammer the pinch welds, hit the fender liner with a heat gun, and remove the factory mud flaps :( this morning. Knew I’d probably have to but will still miss them. Will look for something universal

Spare had to be put down to 5 psi (will just always have a compressor in the truck now, was hoping to get away with 20 psi) and remove the forward spare tire bar/spacer. Still rubs on the panhard bar a bit. I have a Reese hit so others might be better.

If flocking, I am using soft micro-suede fibers, works out next week then I may make these full time. I can fit up to Morel Little Lotus aka Supremo Picollos, which is one of the largest tweeters on the market, without having to touch the A-Pillars.

Looks good so far. I'll be doing something similar once I get going on my audio build.

Are you modifying the factory tweeter covers or building new housings from scratch? Would love to see more photos of the process.

So this particular one, I took a mounting "cup" for CDT's Eurosport tweeter and "sunk" it into the OEM trim panel. Fiberglass outside and heavily coated with epoxy mixed with fiber strands, they gained some weight. I had suspicions that with the right approach, I could make just about any size tweeter fit in that location without having to use the A-Pillars or cut/trim the top edge of the door. So far so good.

Very neat. That was what I was considering and weird coincidence but I have some CDT cups from a couple old component sets. Appreciate the info! Definitely post up the finished product please.

Started working on some big tasks that I hope to finish before the end of next week. On the docket is an oil change, transmission pan replacement, transfer case rear end R&R along with bearing replacement, heat shielding, replacing charcoal canister, and new headlights. If time permits I’ll also do a full rear end brake job and maybe a fuel pump replacement.

On the transmission I have been monitoring seepage that seemed to be coming from the area where the fipg should have been. Well just removed the bolts and the pan fell down sans any fipg. Seems the previous owner had some work done down there. The mechanic at the time use some cheap felt gasket that was seeping.

I’m guessing the OEM transmission filter isn’t made in China….

Now to investigate further and see what else isn’t OEM in there. Anyone see anything off the bat?

If I was still at Ft Belvoir, I would have helped you out with them.

replaced all door seals, moulding and trim. including the rear quarter panels - it made a huge difference!

Steering rack replaced. Unable to to steering alignment, says I need to go to a wheel place for this but he's "done the best he can". Says best to get alignment done prevent chewing up the tyres.
RH R CV replaced
Coolant flush / replace

I had asked for the driveshaft to be greased but they told me that when it was in for a fluid and filter change and a once-over, they did this already.

Got a feeling my battery will need replacing soon so I'm going to look into a dual battery set up but no rush (I say that but that's a kiss of death on the existing battery dying at the most awkward opportunity!)
