Did you powder the roof rack? Looks great 👍

I see a dissent front skid 😎
Yes, I did - I went a nontraditional route with all the armor I'm putting on this weekend—and thanks!

Not seen - other dissent goodies 🫣

Cruise control stalk was the victim of kid's nylon loop on the keys.

Once I got over the fear of screwing up, the rest is history. I wish that I got into fabrication a lot sooner than 42 years old. Tomorrow I will be taking final measurements for a passenger footwell sub, hoping to stuff a 10" Illusion Audio woofer down there in a tiny sealed enclosure.

Replaced all the old exterior side mouldings on my 100 with new OE. My door trim was pretty sunfaded. Replacing all that trim is not a cheap project by any means, but it looks really good. Get them before they are discontinued I've learned.

huge difference in? noise?
for now: appearance and the way the door locks: it feels more "solid". the truck is down while I do some upgrades, but I'm sure it'll be a bit more sealed from the wind and elements

New SPC ball joints. One of the easiest jobs I've done on a 100.

Rolled over 200,000 this weekend for a wedding in Maine. Road trip gave a chance to test my seat jackers — they made my legs more comfortable but as a tall guy I’m having a hell of a time finding a seating position that allows me to see traffic lights!

Also tested out my new halogen low beams I got from Daniel Stern on some windy roads in the middle of nowhere. Worked great! Very happy to kick the xenon retrofit down the road a bit. Still have new fogs to install.

Time for some 200k maintenance next weekend!
I removed my sun visor for some quick and easy visibility. Also wish the seat sat a bit lower.

Installed the Ohana Rig Supply "Stealth Panel" accessory mount and started experimenting with radio placement. Happy with the product so far - it's definitely got a lot of potential. Still need to buy some more RAM stuff to get the map tablet and passenger cellphone mount located.

I also used a 25 mm to 17 mm ball adapter to put a wireless charger on the end of my RAM arm. Fantastic idea that I got from someone else on this forum. Love this place.

Decided to put the radio itself under the passenger seat where the stereo amp used to be. Fuses and relays are under the center console. I have a fused hot wire coming from the battery and I use a separate ignition power to drive the relay coils. I did this when I installed the USB and accessory ports a year or two ago for a very good reason that eludes me today.

(pics are IN PROGRESS don't worry I cleaned it up ... some)

Hammered down the front dust caps and installed the wheel centers. I'll look into spacers when I get the next size up in tire - mostly because I don't think I'll like the change in steering feel with 33s. But it's more than sufficient for now.

Other than that, I've been working through the 120k service. My replacement NGK coil died, and I had a feeling the rest of the coils might not be far behind since that NGK replaced a factory coil, so now I have 8 new Denso coils along with new plugs.

Plenty more work to do before my trip in late October. Still need to finish raising the spare tire carrier so I can get the spare back under there. Also need to replace the motors in my door lock actuators. Good news is you can get them on Amazon for a decent price. Yet again I got all the info I needed here (in this thread) 🍻

New OEM muffler. My old one wasn't in horrible shape, but it was separating at the seams and had a couple small holes in it. Replacing it made a bigger difference than I had expected, so no regrets spending the $$ during the 25% off OEM sale (assuming it will last another 19+ years). It's definitely a lot quieter - improvements are very noticeable on startup and there's no more final grunting noise (hard to explain) on shutdown.

After reading how the DIY job can turn into a PITA, I decided to make an appointment and bring all the parts (muffler, gaskets, hardware) to my local exhaust-only shop (5 stars) where they installed it for an incredibly reasonable price. I was in and out in < 40 minutes.

The fun goes on...

Battery light flickered a couple of times on way to work. Just tried firing up at lunch and amps are down on the guage so I'm guessing alternator. Hopefully I'll make it home but can't get it looked at until Monday (and I don't have a multimeter either).

I need to drive 15km home. Battery guage at the mark below 14v (so perhaps 11 ish but I know the guage isn't super accurate).

Reckon I'll make it? The thought of breaking down on the road fills me with dread.

Last week I stopped at Ed Martin Toyota in Noblesville, IN to have them service the transmission (fluid drain and re-fill) and perform a zero calibration on the steering wheel. I do most of my own work, but was happy to hand off these tasks to this shop. They are a great dealership to deal with, plus they have a couple awesome Cruisers to enjoy while you wait. Thanks @Eric Sarjeant and his great staff!

My son and I were at the start of a road trip to Duluth, MN for a family get-together.

if you have a chance grab jumper cables so you can potentially charge from another vehicle
