What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (44 Viewers)

Replaced 8 spark plugs and ignition coils with all Denso parts at 291K. The last 6,000 miles have worn out my wallet.......
- 285K Tensioner belt pulley
- 286K Cooling fan pulley
- 287K Brake Master cylinder
- 287K A/C line leak and recharge
- 290K rear brake pads and rotor
- 291K ignition coils and spark plugs

Let's go ahead and update the list.....
- real axle seal leak
- lower ball joints
- front drive flanges (didn't need it but trying to get rid of clunk when shifting to D or R) It helped!

Still need to do.....
- Upper ball joints or may just replace whole upper control arms.
- Tie rod ends

Damn my wallet!

I feel like replacing the whole UCA is a much easier than just doing the ball joints.
 
Ordered my UCAs from them, no issues whatsoever.
I ordered mine from them and after a week of waiting I got a refund for one and received the other, in 555 branded bag, with little communication involved. Every other time I’ve had a good experience with them. I bought 2 Chinese fenders from them for $450 shipped, with zero issues.
 
Just got myself a set of new rubber today!

Less than $150 shipped.

How the heck can they sell them so cheap? They are almost 2/3 cheaper than other vendors for the Sankei 555 control arms. Quality is apparently very high on these.

At $65 each, total replacement is a no brainer compared to changing just the ball joints.
 
Got the new alternator in. Getting the old one out was way harder; new one slid right in. Also did air filter and cabin air filters.

While I was in there I replaced sparks plugs; and noticed 6/8 coils were cracked. Does anyone know if cracked coils can cause CEL? Because it came on a day later; mechanic will scan it but I preemptively ordered 8 Denso coils.

I replaced 4 of mine a couple months ago due to them being split down the shaft.

They could what code(s) are you getting?
