I'm told that having sliders at a 15-degrees angle provides more clearance. Any there any other benefits? I'm wondering if I should just have the sliders level, at 0-degrees. Does anyone have an opinion on this?
Yes the 15° slider gives more clearance on technical obstacles. I preferred the flat or 0° because of my main reason I want it to serve still as a step bar.

These finally showed up so im throwing them on.

Installed some new parts…

+ Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro 2” lift kit, stage 2
+ Dobinsons UCAs
+ OEM TOYOTA LCAs

Couldn’t separate the tie rod end ball joints to install my 555 Japan parts, so I’ll have Desert Toy add that to the list when they complete my alignment.

Sorry if you’ve mentioned this before, but did you have your Tundra rims powdercoated, or did you paint them? Looks like a Charcoal color- very sharp.

Go 15 degrees. You need all the clearance you can get. I've had my WKOR sliders for 5 years+ and they have saved me. In fact I have a couple big dents in them from putting the entire weight of the vehicle on a rock. I'll post a photo tomorrow. I highly recommend these sliders.

I have both (on two separate trucks, of course). The 15 deg ones are closer to the truck but suck as apanel.
Also, my 0⁰ ones have a kick out built in in the rear. Many times that kickout has pushed the truck away from a rock or tree and saved the rear quarter panel.

I recommend the 0⁰ option

Thank you! They’re a factory special edition wheel. The color is graphite and they came off the 2021 Tundra Trail Edition.

Replaced a leaking input shaft seal on the rear diff. Also replaced 12 quarts of ATF in the trans. That was the last fluid in this truck that I hadn’t replaced.

What made the day interesting was my lift died with the truck in the air…just no power. I eventually figured out the switch went bad. Luckily it’s a rotation switch with an extra set of contacts, so I rewired it and now have the truck back on the ground.

Got the KC lights installed and wired up. Pretty pleased so far but will tell for sure when I get to some night driving / trailing. A little disappointed with the cheap switch (bottom right). Even Rough Country put more effort into theirs.

I’ll “switch” it out later for an OE style.

Found the reason why my front left shock rubbers kept failing monthly, saw this while checking radius arm bushes. I remember the jump that tore it, it was enough to completely collapse the Rancho 9000 shock that used to be in there. I've had this baby singin on the highway, 160km/h no probs 🤣

Nicely done. Eagerly waiting for a night time shot of the new lights output. Your truck is coming along nicely!

Thank you! Plan to test them out for next weekends camping trip :) Will be leaving Friday after work, so likely arriving around dusk/night time.

I’ve had a check engine light since swapping my OEM muffler for a Magnaflow a couple months ago. A couple of you suggested replacing the downstream O2 sensors out, which I did this morning with Denso units bought from a reputable reseller. A few things I noticed- one sensor had its gasket cooked on, requiring that I get fairly serious about scraping and cleaning the mounting surface. The other sensor had a jam nut behind the factory flange nut (huh, I wonder what’s up there?) and then I found that it had no gasket at all. I was under the impression that all service on my LX had been done by the local Lexus dealer, but the more I get into it, the less I’m convinced . Pretty clear which one had the gasket, eh?
