I used the great @PADDO method to do an AHC flush. Apparently it was very needed. The bleeding was a little nerve wracking at first because the flow started FAST and I thought I did something wrong. Then getting off the bump stops took a while. But overall it worked, I’m back in neutral, and the fluid is right below the max line.

Replaced my backup camera. Much better compared to the old one.

Also replaced my blinker relay. To get to the OEM relay, remove one screw to move the lower dash trim and use a bunch of extensions attached to a 10mm socket. Sounds simple, but I spent a good 30 minutes or so thinking I could get to it without moving the dash.

No more hyper blinkers.

Very nice!
Really curious about your seat covers too!

Finally ordered the DT headers... should be here next week. :):bounce:
Who did you order them through? Just the headers or full exhaust?

Since we are getting farther out on our solo adventures, I figured it is just right to go prepared and have the basics. Took delivery of this today and got the Garmin GPSMap 64x yesterday (will be using this on my MTB adventures too lol).

This will always remain in Lx all the time. Next on the list is the recovery kit (survival shovel, snatch and kinetic straps and some D or maybe soft shackles). What’s the recovery strap of your choice gents?

My wife surprised me with one of these form Matt’s off-road recovery.

pricier than what I would have bought but I’m happy to support Matt. His videos are awesome

Ya, so...

Timing belt and water pump service at Toyota. Tech missed the Passenger side clip for the fan shroud. Drove for about about a week and then the shroud moved. Fan decided it didn't like the closeness and ejected all of its blades. Blades decided it would be fun going through my new radiator.
So truck is at Toyota, waiting on a new radiator and new fan ( which apparently is on nationwide back order)
Good times.

Gonna drive this instead.

Hold up....you mean he didnt attach the fan shroud at all?

Installed my Huracan tailgate storage. Took some time to clean up the wires and extend the harness to the lock cylinder, so I could tuck the cable away.

Peeled my factory carpet off the disintegrating cardboard backer and it looks like I can make it work as a cover.

Fit a ton of stuff in there and got it un-burried from the depths of my truck. The tailgate is super heavy now and wish there was a hydraulic damper on it like a pickup.

Nice! My plastic flap thing still catches on the latches, did you find a way to deal with that?

Hold up....you mean he didnt attach the fan shroud at all?

He got the driver side clip of the shroud into its keeper at the bottom of the radiator, but missed the passenger side one, so the shroud was apparently moving around at the bottom. I guess it moved over towards the passenger side enough that the fan hit the shroud on the inside and ejected all of the blades. They just called me, said new parts will be in on the 9th.

The rope is made by Yankum. You definitely won't lose that rope as bright as it is lol

Excellent job dude!!!

I'm getting mine in a few days...

Any pointers you can recommend on the cable relocation?

Really curious about your seat covers too!

I honestly forgot the brand name. I found out about these through this very thread last year. They fit over the OEM leather and are okay for a temporary solution, but I’d go for some lseat covers if I had to do it all over again.

It is definitely the easiest solution if you just want to cover up torn up OEM seats while maintaining an OEM look.

Could it be the Iggee's?

I got carried away and bought both. LOL

I went with Summit.

They drop ship from the manufacturer, and Doug Thorley says they're out of stock. So unless they have a secret stash somewhere you may be waiting a while (i've been keeping my eyes out for some for a while).
