Yes ground only.
My positive terminal was corroded + i was thinking ahead that i may add winch/2nd battery in the future.

Replaced a bad coil that was giving me a cylinder 3 misfire with a Denso unit from Rockauto. Surprisingly, this also cured the light rough idle issue I’ve been trying to chase down for the past 2 years.

I also put on a set of iggee seat covers in the front. I probably got the wrong shade of grey because it’s a pretty bad mismatch. 😄 The fit is ok. Will probably try again with the covers from lseat next year.

Did some urban camping. Maiden voyage of the sleeping platform was a success!

Took some door panels off and found out that I have 5 1/4" speakers in all 4 doors. Now I have to return some 6 1/2's. Hopefully this is the hardest part of the stereo upgrade 😬

One front diff bushing at a time. Will move on to the remaining two (driver side and/or passenger side rear) if the clunk/thud remains after I road test this bad boy this afternoon.

After almost 1,000 miles since I replaced the LBJs, UBJs and outer tie rods I decided to take a look at them for precautionary measures. I remember reading a thread about a fellow mudder having his ball joints fail without any warnings, so I just felt I had to check it. While at it I also rotated the tires.

Passenger side retightened okay but I went went king kong on the driver side UBJ castle but and probably may have stripped it. In the process I also wasn’t able to put in the lock pin.

In the process, I also wasn’t able to put in the lock pin since the hole doesn’t line up on one of the gaps of the castle nut. Any suggestions gents?
I'd just replace the nut and not go King Kong on it this time.

Did the Big Three. And added a slee terminal + extension. Negative terminal will have to wait until I get a crimper.

Sheard a bolt at engine block in front of fire wall, is where I bolted ok?
Also had to shave the bolt at the + terminal to get it to seat correctly.
The fuse link box is a little canted do you think that's a problem?

Got cables from @TheForger great quality.

did you do frame ground or just body? I did both b/c I had extra wire but would do Frame if I only had one choice.

Deleted roof rack and running boards. Replaced the front bumper with TJM and the rear bumper with the kit from Coastal Offroad.

The grille and headlight units are from www.landcruisergrilles.com with Morimoto Super7 Bi-LED Headlights. Still need to source some offroad lights for the grille.

The wheels are 20" Tundra sets.

Planning to build my low profile own sliders and either paint black or delete the side trim.

This is how it looked before the metamorphosis and a couple of the rear bumper build.
