Damn dude glad you are okay. Is t his a road or on a trail?

Dang.... Looks like mud might have been a problem?
Maybe a good thing you hit that large rock to slow you down from plowing into the tree.

That kidney looking metal thing that everyone removes when they remove their running boards stopped the cruiser from plowing the trees.

Had my water pump and timing belt changed at about 199,000 miles no issues prior. will replace the front tires Sunday

Sorry to hear/see Gunner, glad your ok though, I hear turtle wax has a great product, that fender will buff right out with it. J/K
I am in the process of replacing my front wheel bearings, rotors, pads, lower ball joints. Next is my inner and outer tie rods, haven't decided if I should replace the steering rack.

No injuries. No serious damage. Pride is aching pretty badly. Happened on my property. My son and I playing around.

We were going down muddy hill. It was pretty steep and slick. Got to the road moving too fast, it was muddy and slick, we went across into the trees.

Could have been worse... Glad it wasn't... Little R&R and it'll be good to go again!

You're going to replace the starter even though the current one is working? That's OCD stuff lol. I think i will do the same at 200K miles, replace starter and fuel pump before a long trip. I saw that the Alternator has been replaced at 150K so that won't be on the agenda.

Starter, fuel pump, or alternator fail on a road trip and you're in a lot of trouble...
Any idea what the dealership would charge for a fuel pump replacement? I’m at 217k miles right now - just had the starter replaced (OEM reman).
Because of these 👆comments just added fuel pump to the list

It's simple bro, lift up the rear seats and open the service hatch and replace. I can't see a shop charging more than $150 to do this.

If there's any appropriate time to wreck your car with no injuries I think you just described it perfectly.

Glad you and your son are OK and glad you guys get to go thrash around on your own property!

Today I decided to put the factory wheels back and and went to a smaller tire. The previous combo (305/65/18 + XD Wheels) weighed 93 lbs, and the OEM 18's with (275/70/18) Wrangler Duratracs weigh 82 lbs, so 11lbs shaved per corner. Having the KO2s for so long i'm loving this setup, truck feels much more nimbler and acceleration has improved a lot. Could be placebo as i'm trying to justify my decision lol. Just drove it around earlier and i smoked an old Paseo off the line. Will calculate MPG gains later, i will miss the looks but i'll enjoy the ride more now, @tacoduck will be proud of me putting these OEM wheels back on.

I put the heavy and wide setup on the Tundra. The 5.7L had zero issue moving it, barely felt any difference.

Best looking wheels in the game. you have chosen wisely. Single cab tundra is SWEET. whats the backstory?

ive had it for awhile, just wanted a fast, reliable, 4x4 pickup to haul stuff. Tundra checked all the boxes and I know how to fix them if something goes wrong. So far only external water pump needed to be done.

I know I am in the minority but I actually put the dampener thing back on after I put my sliders on (you can't see it anyway). Greatly reduced a vibration in drive at idle.

I wish i had kept mine, i hear my exhaust drone at idle in gear, i read that the kidney helps. Too bad i threw mine away and cannot find it, they have certain weights and location on where to put it. Mine was on the driver's side, weighed about 400kg

Interesting, I thought they were all in the same place on the passenger frame rail.
