I wish i had kept mine, i hear my exhaust drone at idle in gear, i read that the kidney helps. Too bad i threw mine away and cannot find it, they have certain weights and location on where to put it. Mine was on the driver's side, weighed about 400kg
400 Kilograms?! Good god man!!! I bet cruiser lean was a bitch!!!

ive had it for awhile, just wanted a fast, reliable, 4x4 pickup to haul stuff. Tundra checked all the boxes and I know how to fix them if something goes wrong. So far only external water pump needed to be done.

I can honestly say I have never seen a single cab 2nd gen tundra, I like it.

Going to start this project tmr... no more rats nest.

Ouch!
Looking at it that way makes me want to take the bus.

Had a funny idle when I went to the hardware store, on my way home, check engine light started to flash....pulled the codes and had a misfire on cylinder #6. After swapping the #6 with the #2 ignition coil and checking spark plugs, the stumbling moved with the ignition coil.

Hopped on the ol'amazon and ordered a Denso Ignition coil...replaced it and stumble went away with the check engine light and codes.

And...since I'm a naturalist, I went ahead and ordered a replacement Toyota Ignition coil to put back in. I'll keep the Denso on hand to help troubleshoot any future cylinder misfires.

Swapped out tired old 865 coils for some 866, which added 3/4” to the rear height. Added new OEM rear rotors and adjusted the e-brake to “Black Bear Pass” tight.
