Front row parking at the brewery is what I did :grinpimp:

Loaded these beauties up!

But first I had to take a couple comparo shots. The 315s really do make the 285s look small. I think they will just fit so much better, aesthetically speaking.

I will post pics as soon as I get them mounted up.

Took the 100 for a ~1500 mile trek through Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah. Slept on our sleeping platform all three nights. This probably says more about my everyday habits than about the Land Cruiser setup, but according to my Fitbit, I slept longer the three nights in the Cruiser than I have any night in the last year. Go figure.

There's something special about driving a rig with 260,000 miles across the desert and having as much confidence in it as any other vehicle I've owned with 1/4 the miles.

Nothing like getting out there and having a good truck to take you.

Getting the Cruiser sorted before our trip in 2 weeks. New, stainless steel heater T's and new Oem hoses secured with Gates Powergrip clamps on the T's and reused the original clamps at the other ends. The mountains of Colorado and the deserts of Nevada are sure to test our coolant system. One less thing to worry about. I had replaced one heater hose T that blew after my body lift and even using the old hose that fit loosely on the steel T and was deeply indented from the original clamps the Gates Powergrips held firm and didn't leak a drop. Big fan of them now.
Would love to hear how those powergrips hold up over time. I did stainless but went with worm drive clamps. Yours looks nice and clean!

I have 145k on the ODO so I was getting ready to do a 150k service. All my parts showed up from Camelback Toyota and Rock Auto. When I ordered them from my air conditioned office I forgot about the realities of working in the garage in South Texas this time of year. Maybe I can get around to this come December

I got my 315/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs mounted up. I also needed to replace my tie rod ends, and best the pinch welds back while I was doing that. There is still a little rub, so it looks like I'll be getting the cutting wheel out tomorrow!

The difference was pretty noticeable between the 315s and 285s, but I don't feel it much (if at all) while driving.

Removed factory flares. Now got a bunch of body damage to contend with. Pics to follow!!

Seeing this is giving me the itch ..

315s look perfectly proportional on the these big pigs.

Agreed. The 285s fit nicely without any crazy modifications, but the 315s are just so aesthetically pleasing on our 100s.

Chucked some paint on a few scratches after a trip to Coyote lake. That trip pushed the limits of the 100 and my driving. Absolutely ferocious trail. Also, replaced a torn CV boot. The job was very straightforward, but those Toyota snap rings are such a pain! Ample swearing got the job done.

^^^ Curious how you managed to dent the rocker when you have sliders that don't look damaged at all (besides some scuffs)!
