Airlift Airbags. Valve them separately so when you have an issue with yours, as I did with my 4R, it is easy to determine which one it is.
Copy that. Did you go with the 1000’s?

Were you at Brät Brot in Lakeview on Tuesday? I saw your cruiser in the lot and stopped to check it out. It was there when I got there and still there when I left…
Yep, I was watching the France v. Belgium World Cup match. Do you work downtown?

Got a lot done in the first week of ownership, loving this truck. Still detailing the inside is mess. while looking at truck to buy the PO was very specific about there being no leaks on the truck, after getting it on the lift at work I was able to find one, timing belt tensioner, I guess it was skipped at last TB service, so i replaced it, cabin airs, greased all the drive line components, removed running boards and did the pin 7 mod, I cant imagine how terrible this truck would be without being able to disable that center locker in 4L (thanks to he/she who pioneered that). Got the truck off road this weekend for the first time and discovered ill be needing lockers and tires at very least.. very soon. So today I spent a few painful hours getting my 32bit ebay mvci drivers working with my 64bit tis (all running on win10 now) and checked my AHC pressures to be pleasantly surprised to find the front and rear pressures between 6.4 and 6.5 at nearly 20 years (this October) and 260k miles everything to be in such good shape ( flush coming soon ). While in TIS I performed a joyous mod and disabled the damn LX's "auto runaway/return" steering column function, I cant believe the the still works now I dont have to cringe everytime I remove the key.View attachment 1734843

I can't believe your telescope function works either!
It does not work on our '99 470.
My LSD works quite well! You might try tires first and see how yours does. I was pleased with the LSD running BFG ATs.
Very nice your AHC is healthy!

Is that off 600-1 or 600-2? We (Dixieland Cruisers - AL chapter) are doing a club ride through there Saturday morning if you want to join. We are meeting at the Huddle House off 280 @ 9:30am in Sylacauga.

I saw from an Alabama Overland post on Facebook that this was 600-1.

No, it didn't occur to me to try that, would be a great idea at the car wash, I don't have a PW. I did pull em out as far as they'd go and used a bucket in my lap to wet and wash them. And then a second time with water only to rinse clean. Today they actually looked great once they dried out, was silly how much better they are. Such a small thing and I'm rambling on about it, apparently my expectations were pretty low! I think I'll still give the PW or cleaner a go, see if I can't get them nice as possible now that I've got started.

Try laundry detergent. I love having a pressure washer at home, you might think about sinking $150 for this convenience. Once you have rinsed them, keep them extended out for the best drying...

Are you in AL as well? You should join us Saturday.

Yes, live in Madison, AL, but from B'ham area. I plan to make this trip soon as I was mapping it out this week, but this weekend will not work for me. I will keep my eyes peeled for the next time.

I’m in Sylacauga. I will definitely be there. 0930 at Waffle House on 280.

GOT HWM??????

I asked @yotasavg to come up to the shop for a HWM (hidden winch mount) build day as he is the closest "stock" 100 in the area I know of.... These mounts are becoming more and more popular and since I sold all of my bumper designs.... might as well make a new product.

The stock cover is re-installed using 100% of the stock bumper tabs. I had to add the two center tab brackets and will supply the hardware to attach these points as well as new 10.9 grade frame/HWM bolts with the kit.

He also asked if we could take a ride in my old Esme rig as its here for a custom front and misc R&D items for the 100. He was interested in what the Tough Dog and TourFlex system was all about. I'll let him express his opinions on this and the HWM and working with me.

It was a pleasure working with you today. You and Dewey are welcome anytime.

I'll let @yotasavg comment from here..

Was wondering if those might be to bright? I did the pfran upgrade last night and the parking lights make the head lights look a little dated. Still loving it. Anyway if you have pics or thoughts appreciated!

Sorry didnt see your post Colorado kid. The light is a nice white now. Can see much better vs stock yellow. Not overly bright for oncoming traffic.

Copied from your other thread:

Thanks for everything @reevesci, I had a great time up there (and Dewey, too).

First I just want to say it was really fun to watch Jason work. From laying under the truck with a note pad, to bolting up the first prototype you see pictured in short order, I was impressed. He continued to blow my mind by making use of all the original bumper tabs - really well thought out, and mounts like it's from Toyota. Obviously it pairs perfectly with a set of the TT recovery brackets. I'm working on painting everything today.

I wanted to mention that I was also able to pull this off the truck when I got home without help and with the bumper intact. Remove the two middle tabs (Jason supplied new hardware for those as there's no longer a nutsert for them) and it drops right out the bottom. Obviously with a winch in there you'd need help, or a floor jack I suppose.

About the license plate, not sure what I'll do yet, but I like the idea of drilling new holes in it. Keep it simple...

And to put another positive word out there for the Tough Dog / TourFlex system... Esme rides like a dream compared to my truck. I learned yesterday that I'm not sitting at stock height, and I've actually got a bit of lift despite thinking I was just correcting 20 years of sag. I definitely know I'll be in the market for Tough Dog suspension in the future.

This looks great and is exactly what many of us have been hoping to see for a long time, thank you!

I do have a question/suggestion for a different arrangement: Would it be possible, strength-wise, to have a similar plate with a front-facing hitch receiver? I ask because having a winch on a portable tray that can be mounted to either the front or rear of the vehicle could be helpful should one find themselves head-first into a ditch with no buddies around.

This is more of an unsexy farm arrangement but seems potentially more practical for solo trekkers.
