Finally got to use the sleeping platform in a real setting near Salida, CO. Slept like a baby.

We'll be doing a three night trek to Utah in a few weeks so it was nice to get a test run in.

Installed a set of Dissent Offroad aluminum skid plates. Fit right up the way they were supposed to and don't look half bad ha. @benc did an awesome job planning these out, still easy access to anything underneath you would need and the craftsmanship was top notch again.

I did all this a few weeks ago, pre-moving. Changed oil, changed front-diff oil due to newish gears, complete transmission fluid exchange following a thread found elsewhere on this forum (worked great!), flushed coolant system using Prestone kit, replaced cracked T's, and replaced valve cover gaskets.
Everything was fairly straightforward. Cleaning valve covers took a while.

130K miles, this is on my new hundy i just got, it broke when i squeezed the clamps, not even touching the hoses yet. Could be disastrous on a road trip.

GOT HWM??????

I asked @yotasavg to come up to the shop for a HWM (hidden winch mount) build day as he is the closest "stock" 100 in the area I know of.... These mounts are becoming more and more popular and since I sold all of my bumper designs.... might as well make a new product.

The stock cover is re-installed using 100% of the stock bumper tabs. I had to add the two center tab brackets and will supply the hardware to attach these points as well as new 10.9 grade frame/HWM bolts with the kit.

He also asked if we could take a ride in my old Esme rig as its here for a custom front and misc R&D items for the 100. He was interested in what the Tough Dog and TourFlex system was all about. I'll let him express his opinions on this and the HWM and working with me.

It was a pleasure working with you today. You and Dewey are welcome anytime.

I'll let @yotasavg comment from here..

What is the time frame on these to go live? Any idea on price point? I need this like yesterday. ;)

Oddly enough, I also did this this last weekend.

I also did the grill. I really love how this turned out.

I also finally got around to doing Land Cruiser Phil's mud flap delete.

A few months back our key broke in the ignition. YotaMD hooked me up with a new key. Since the. The key has been harder and harder to turn. Got some blanks and went to yota dealer. They wont cut your keys and will only sell you the whole shebang transponder set up for around $300 no thanks. Took it to a local LS and they cut it by VIN look up. New key didnt solve the hard turn. Asked toyota..... new ignition is around $400. Ok back to the LS with the ignition in hand. Fixed in an hour total $28 for the ignition fix.

i am having the same issue. i bought two spare keys as my plastic ring on my two have split and broke. Ace hardware said they won't cut it im in MA any suggestions on where to get the keys cut for my 98 cruiser

Some dealers will do it if you tell them you dont care if they accidently break it. My amazon blanks were only $9 so I wouldn't have cared. The one I went to wouldn't but one I went to yesterday to get another part would have.

Many lock Smith's can cut it from vin you just have to call around. Removing the ignition is easy any any lock Smith should be able to replace the pins for fairly cheap.

I'm cutting and bending a few this morning. Andrea will have them up later today on the website.

J

Please let me know....hopefully I can squeeze it into the budget today. Will it come with everything to mount it?
