Cleaning up my frame in preparation for rust converter, sealant, and top coat from KBS. I'm also running a hot water pressure washer line through the interior of the frame then treating with corrosive inhibiting cavity wax. I want my girl to look good when the kids bury me in it.

I gazed at my gutted LC, and made an appointment to have the windshield replaced since I fixed all the other water leaks. Ill finish the carpet padding tomorrow and be ready to re-install the interior once the windshield gets replaced.

Ditched the trailer for a bit and took it off road and promptly got it stuck in the deep sand of a wash and @beno had to take the wheel. That's me getting it stuck.

Then checked out some ruins and climbed a ridge a bit before heading back to camp.

Removed the wood grain from the newly acquired "White Rhino"...did the window control units yesterday, will tackle center console today. It was surprisingly easier than I thought/read about. Once I got the wood grain off, there were just strips of double sided tape which came off quickly, took about 5 minutes/per. It came off so clean I didn't have to use any solvents to remove residue. More pics today and I tackle the center console.

One of the best no $$$ mods out there...and yes, I know removing the running boards is another...wife nixed that idea...she said she uses them to get into the truck.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July.

Added the incredibly important bottle opener to my bumper! By far my most practical upgrade. Plus, needed an excuse to use my rivet gun again :)

@CatskillsRunner
What size tires and lift are you running? Love the stance of your vehicle!

Thanks! 285s, and I have Fox 2.0 with OME TBs and medium springs in back. It is higher in the back because I probably have 20 lbs. of air in the airbags for towing.

Warm summer temps help too. Get your interior nice & hot and that crap will pull right off no problem.

^^^^Seriously, it was a breeze...and EXTREMELY satisfying that something else didn't break or cost me $$$ in the process.

GOT A LIFT! The Tough Dog is EXTREMELY SMOOOTTHHHHHH on road! Feels like my Aunt's Lexus LS460. WAY better than the spongy boat-like OEMs. @reevesci was very helpful and informative! I was a total newb and he basically walked me through how everything worked, Anyways here is a pic! Lol. Might need bigger tires now, the 33 kinda looks small with a lift.

Looks great! Which shocks did you go with up front? Did you go with the medium or the constant springs?

41 front /45 adjustable rear with Tough Dog torsion bars, but I actually went with Ironman 100 Series/LX470 Coil Springs Rear 2" Lift - Performance Springs. Because att the time of order he did not have any TD rear springs. But it rides super smooth and composed on the road. OEMs were too soft and boat-like and had too much body roll.

Continued Project De-Bling (she needs a bath now):

Relocated my license plate that I got in May:

Got a bunch of stuff in store for today and tomorrow for HIH8 too. Will post some of that when complete!

Messed around with oil pressure sender, but didn't accomplish much, gauge still says 0.

When I replaced the sub in our 2004, it came as a pairI, thought I'd be able to use the second one in the 2003 LX. It has ML and didn't work out so well, I'm going to have to figure that out.

The obligatory hood struts, stop waiting, it's worth it.

Removed a tip I didn't care for.
Polish coming soon.

Pressure washed the belts.

Swapped wheels/tires.

Just finished detailing it. Thinking about getting ready to sale it in the next 6+ mos.
