Made a couple more 100 tailgate lids.

If you don’t have one of @reevesci's lids... get one. These things are awesome!!!! And FYI... my 12 year old did most of the cutting on the tailgate to get it in. Its easy.

Put my freshly repainted sliders back on and dug the Thule Atlantis cargo box out of storage and remounted it preparing for our next big trip in a few weeks.

I WANT that windshield decal BAAAAAAD! Sweet looking rig BTW

After you install an Attic Rack and fill it with stuff you no longer have light in the cargo area.:( I addressed the issue by installing button LED lights in the hole where the 3rd row seat belt attached. Wired it to the existing dome light so the new 1 watt LED's are controlled just like the dome light. The new lights work great and are brighter than the factory dome light. I previously upgraded my dome light with a super bright COB LED panel. The pictures below show the brightness comparison between the old and new. Because of the location and angle of the new lights they are hard to see from the back but the effectiveness of the light output is strong. Everything is now well lit, with good color, clean, and all wiring hidden.

Where did you get that cargo shelf/rack from? Is there a write up? Thanks

Actually did this several months ago but haven't taken time to post- installed a Smittybuilt winch: waterproof X20, 12000lb, synthetic rope, with wireless remote, was $570 on Amazon at the time.

Installation was a bit of a trick, so wanted to share some photos. I know the Dissent bumper is supposed to be able to fit this winch and controls, but I wasn't happy with how buried everything was if it all went inside, and it was almost impossible to ever plug in the cable (in case the wireless didn't work). I also wasn't sure how well the wireless feature would work when surrounded by that thick bumper metal, and really liked the idea of being able to walk around out of harm's way as I winched, so thought outside was best:

Thankfully @benc 's bumper design means you can work on the center section by itself (lighter and easier!). I took apart the control box, used its bottom plate for my template:

then ran the wires through the bumper, connected them, and mounted the guts:

Here's another view. You can see what I mean about mounting the control box inside- it's TIGHT with this winch already, and that big cable does not like to bend easily. Not sure how others have done it...

Overall I'm super happy- easy to reach the on/off switch, wireless works a treat, and if I ever need to plug in the cable it'll be easy. Great winch too, used it half dozen times on a brutal snow run and was a champ - 10/10 would recommend.

My new-to-me LX has had a few things done this week. Replaced heater T's, was going to do hoses but they are still good so keeping the new ones onboard as spares (along with channel locks), added Weathertech floor mats and cargo liner- all digital fit, used Back to Black n the trim pieces, disconnected my rain sensor so I have intermittent wipers now as I prefer, got a sun shade for the huge windshield, ordered foam pieces to redo the door speakers when they arrive, also got an Aux-in device to add playability from my iPhone, put a cargo net in, and going to have a tear in the seat fixed and address a vague steering and "notch" accelerator pedal next week at the dealer. Absolutely loving this thing.

What is this ""notch" accelerator pedal " you speak of, what am I missing out on:hmm:

Made some reflectix coasters. I found that the transmission tunnels under the cup holders heat up my cool drinks, so I made a couple coasters to combat it.
