Rebuilt Mastercylinder and bled the brakes... Much better feeling than before..Suffered from the typical soft pedal feel on first press and better engagement on second press of the pedal. Major props to @Skidoo for the step by step.
Made a bleeder bottle to bleed system on my own

Remove the carpet that was beyond cleaning. Can’t decide if I want storage lids or not..

Finally got around to cleaning up my homemade drawers a bit.
When I started:

With side wings and carpet installed:

Decided not to mess with the drawers themselves, may not be the best looking but they work and I plan on rebuilding them once i go ahead with installing actual slides.
Definitely wish I had done this sooner.

I like the limb risers.

Couple of questions:
Did you drill directly into the ARB and roof rack?
What banana job was the install?
Is that a BIO rack?

Rig looks great - those tires are definitely meat eaters.
I welded a tab in the arb and the rack is my own design and build, including some HD hooks welded on so I can fill off the cables when not in use.

Rescued an 80 series. In the process I snapped the pin that secures the hook to the thimble on the end of the steel cable. Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade to synthetic line.

Then I got to work installing new Tough Dog torsion bars. These things are awesome and I’m extremely happy with the results I’ve gotten on the short 3 mile test drive I did before a storm rolled in. Less brake dive, it settles much quicker after speed bumps instead of bobbing around, and it just feels all around smoother and more controlled. I had a helper but he got tired from just watching me loosen those adjusting bolts!

Awesome job on the roof rack.

Would love to see some up close shots of the tabs on both the rack & ARB.

Build thread?
Yeah, I need to do a build page at this point.

The hook is 1/4” plate that I cut out. The bracket on the arb was actually a piece of the license plate mount that came with the bumper, it’s about 1/8” thick.

Nice skills.

The rack is definitely one of a kind and the ARB tab looks like it came from the factory (which I think they should adopt).

Thanks for sharing.

Here's the extent of my limited skills:

Which hole do I use?

I'm not interest in struggling with an 80+ lb wheel to figure it out.

Tools needed: your kids crayon and scratch paper.

Also scissors.

To be continued, the kids "misplaced" the 22mm socket.

I saw that on the Razorback Forum! Good looking rig, btw. Maybe I'll see it at the Ramble.

How long did it take you to complete the rebuild?

Well...long story short but the front my Front Runner Rack snapped where my Rigid Light Bar was attached & dented my roof:crybaby:. After a few weeks in the auto body shop everything on the car was back to normal. I decided to go a different route with my roof rack though, @benc installed his amazing roof rack. The autohome tent and alu cab awning will be back on soon.:)

Damn, any pointers on avoiding breaking the rack?!

The new rack looks bad ass!

@Nijas98hundie about 3 hrs. No major challenges Bled the brake system twice. Only issues I had was pushing the piston in to release the clip, took a few wacks of a hammer and socket. Other thing was pulling out the piston. That was harder than I expected. Over all not a challenging repair

Working on getting the LX with 188k Miles ready for the long drive to Colorado for hundreds in the hills.

In my gravel driveway I replaced the steering rack, both lower ball joints, LCA bushings and bushing #2, outer TREs, new radiator, new brake rotors and pads, and new front wheel bearings.

I was chasing a “popping” noise up front and figured I’d do it all while I was in there. I didn’t touch the UCAs because I did new SPCs last year. After all of the work the “pop” was still there. Come to find out it was the driver upper balljoint that’s barely a year old. Oh well, new ones will be here Thursday.

It wasn’t nearly as tough as I thought it would be, but hopefully I’m good for another 188k.

That's a project in itself in a shop, let alone on a gravel driveway. Hats off to you !!!!
