The Methods with 25+offset on 275/70-18 dont rub. Its basically an additional 5mm more offset than your stock wheels with the +30mm bora spacers.

Mounting a KO2 275/70-18 on a 9” wheel is 1/2” over recommended section width (7-8.5”) and the tire flattens out nominally so youll be squaring up the tire a bit. The optimal section width on the 9” wheels would 8”-10” like a 285/65-18- slightly less tall (-3/8~1/2” depending on brand) but wider and tad better protection for the rim.

When these wear out, i plan on getting some 305/65/18. I like the wide look, don't wheel anything hardcore so that size will look good, while still be somewhat useful.

Does the diff breather kit include attachments for both front and rear diff? Not that familiar with the setup.

Yes. It has attachments for both front and rear diffs. They are even prepped on the threads with silicone tape. Pretty impressed with the quality. If you want to do the transfer case and transmission, you'd need to buy another kit like this. Believe it or not, you have a total of 5 breathers under the truck: 1 front diff, 1 rear diff, 2 transfer case and 1 on the transmission.

Wow, 5 - which ones are necessary for water crossings ??

And what snorkel did you purchase? I want the one that has "land cruiser" on the side but can't find it in eBay like everyone said it was.

Yup, 5 total. The front and rear diffs are the big ones though. My understanding is that the factory front/rear diff breathers are extended above the axle partially and have a 1-way cap on the end that can close which blocks water from entering through the breather line. However, it creates a vacuum within the differential that can then "suck" water into the differential through the hub. These "open" diff breathers don't create that vacuum which leads to better protection against water intrusion. I don't think the transfer case or transmission are impacted the same way i.e. vacuum drawing water in. I believe their breathers are enough, but extended ones offer nominally better protection.

As for the snorkel, I don't believe the LandCruiser ones are available any longer. I got this one...

Seems very well constructed and the template is nice. Though, there is no antenna cutout on the template, so you'll have to trim the template in that area. The snorkel HAS the antenna cutout though.

And an elocker breather if you have one.

This is an OEM Lexus wheel for 98-00 J100s. The previous owner provided it when he sold it to me back in March. He had bought it back in 2003 and never put it on. I'm replacing the all-leather steering wheel on my LX that is in absolutely perfect condition. Figured I'd try the wood.

Interested in selling your leather one? I have a '98 LC and I'm not even sure it'll fit, but I figure I'd ask before someone else does!

@Ayune Possibly. It would fit yours for sure as I have a 98 LX which is identical to your '98 LC. I'll try out this wood wheel for a bit. Not sure I'll like it If I do, I'd sell you the leather wheel. PM me so I remember to give you first option.

Replaced rear wiper blade.

I wanted to fix the sagging arm but I can’t remove the arm from the stud. At least I was able to get the bolt off. Grrrrrr

Did you try PB Blaster? Sprayed mine each day for 2 days and let it sit before it would budge.

I sprayed wd-40 on it a few days ago.

Should I be prying behind the grommet or in front of it? Ive been prying in front of it but being careful not to break anything.

Put the nut on a few threads and then use pipe grips or similar to apply pressure between the back of the arm and top of the nut. A small ball joint breaker will work aswell. Apply pressure and wiggle the arm at the same time.
