Nice to speak with you this weekend. If you need anything else, give me a shout.

Jason, what's the best way to get a hold of you? I sent you a PM a while ago about a vinyl interior kit you posted here but never received a reply.

PM or my email. I remember replying to your inquiry on the vinyl kit. I'll see if it's still in my inbox. Otherwise I'll re-PM you.

Time for beer:beer::beer::beer:

In preparation of SPC UCA I modded my plastic inner fender using a heat gun for tire clearance on the highest caster setting.

Very excited to see your experience with the SPC's with the AHC !

Yes it will be nice to have mucho down travel in high mode. Im more excited about getting 4-5° of caster. Hoping it can drive itself

Paid @benc a visit over the weekend for some goody and dropped into the Sierra to meet up with some friends after 2 days of solo camping in the bush. Glad to have the new addition - an accessory arm on the rear bumper. 1200 miles of adventure.

Accessory arm addition in progress.

The 4 degrees of caster with the SPCs have been a game changer for me. Love it!

Saw another 100 up on the mountain around coyote flat on Sunday. It was the same color as yours. He was packing up camp and gave me a hang loose sign as I passed by. That you?

This is more like what have I done the last few weeks.....
Ham finally installed and fuse block mounted in rear wheel well. Some extra outlets as well.

This looks really great! Thanks for sharing.

What are the Anderson Powerpole 12V aux socket (cig lighter) receptacles called? I have been looking for something like that, but have not found them.

Just finished greasing u-joints (spider) and slide yoke. Careful to be frugal on the slide yoke (4 squirts). The "clunk" I would get shifting at certain rpms has gone away, dang its great when that happens. Thanks for the advice everyone has posted.

Only thing left for my 150K maint./baselining project is greasing spindle bushings....having fully reviewed the Mud discourse on "LCP method" vs. using the nifty tool from Slee, still not sure which way to go. Coin toss.

I'm looking at going to MetalTech for new front bumper, the TJM with T13 bull bar. There's a wonderfully documented thread here from about 2 years ago from Arctann
TJM T13 Bull bar installed - Lots of pics
but he took 10 hours to do - and seemed like there were some loose ends on it that he needed to clean up. Anybody else done this to a Lexus recently (w/ AHC ) & able to report? Thanks

I have one that should be getting loaded onto a truck in the next day or two, and I plan on installing it some time next week- I'll let you know if I run into any issues with it. I met a guy a couple months ago that had one on his LX470, and he said the install was pretty straightforward other than trimming the antenna mount tabs so the grill can clear the bar. FWIW, the thread you linked is an install on a 200.

Really loaded it up for the first time and no AHC "H" for me! Sliders, rack, drawers, 2 adults, 3 kids, 2.5 bikes and literally NO room left in 3rd row cargo above the drawers. On the freeway when I hit ~75mph it went down into "L" but no blinking. Took the next exit, unloaded the wife and kids and back into "N". Kept it under 70 the rest of the way and it stayed in "N". Downforce thing I guess? King Springs and/or spacers in my near future? Anyone recommend or suggest a different/better spring?

Cheers!

01 LX @ 137k miles
8 x plugs (Denso Iridium SK20R11) and 1 x ignition coil, with another on order.
Plugs in cylinders 4 and 6 (middle two on US passengers side) were finger loose and ignition coils were very dirty and discolored. Replaced worst one with my emergency spare and ordered another two.
Gapped plugs to 1.1 mm and torqued to 13 ft-lb.

Ummmmmm...is this with the wife and kids back in, or are they still out there somewhere?

@LandCruiserPhil is running his AHC with the assistance of some airbags in the rear coils and is able to tow his boat etc. Might be a good option for your usage case?

Thanks for correcting me - got so into his build I didn't notice it was a 200!
Yeah for sure post a summary, I'll follow. Good luck.
