The awesome stock capabilities of AHC. My friends Truck eating up the rough stuff.

Hey LXColorado, looks good....did you find that the spacers were necessary? I'm picking up the same set tomorrow for my 100 and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Spacers are necessary for the TRD wheels, cause the hub caps don't protrude as much as LX/LC wheels (you won't be able to fit the front hub caps, rears are fine). What size tires are you going to run? You'll likely need to upgrade your UCAs, to have proper alignment.

IMO, Slee sells the best spacers for 100's. Spidertrax Spacers

What's a good PSI for these 33" tires im getting put on? my rig is pretty much empty with no added weight except me and my gf. Mainly highways
My truck is completely UNloaded, no armor whatsoever, no third row, etc., but I LOVE driving with my KO2s at 45 PSI. Feels so much more fluid, for lack of a better term.

Thanks. - They currently have 275/65's on them. I really want the 275/70's but don't know if it's really worth making a fuss over about an inch of diameter.

I don't have the UCA's yet, but I don't drive it daily. I want to get them but between wheels/tires (and now spacers), and the sliders that Mike is doing for me at BIOr, I might need to wait to not feel so guilty about the money I'm spending on a toy. Dang responsibilities...

Just ordered some new shoes for the 100. I know I'll get flack for my choice but they are a set of Hankook 265/75/16's. I know, they're not the KO2's but I asked myself what do I really NEED in a tire and the BFG's really weren't on the list. It was down to the Hankooks, Yokahamas, and Firestones and thanks to @Shickalee I got the tires off Amazon for $116 ea. delivered. Also got the part #'s around to order some heater hose T's and some oem shocks, again I know, they aren't the Icons or whatever but most of the travel I do is on the road just plain old DD. As soon as I get the parts I'll post some pics of the wonderfully mundane regular maintenance that we all get to do:)

I have had the Hankook's on my wife's 99' 100 DD for approx 1 year, nice aggressive tread but not loud on hwy, wearing very well, and excellent rain/snow traction. Here is the link Amazon.com: Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10 Off-Road Tire - 265/75R16 114T: Automotive . I would buy again definitely. Now, in full disclosure, I just did buy a set of BFG KO2's 285/75/16's for my 96' FZJ80 just a few weeks ago from Discount Tire. I pulled into Discount Tire to just have the tires rotated and have them check to see if out of balance, as I was feeling a very slight wobble. Well one of the radials was separating and the tires were way out of warranty, next thing I knew I was driving out with the KO2's and a much lighter wallet. In my defense, this was my 3rd set of tires on the 80, so I felt I earned the KO2's this time around. ;)

Hood blackout. No more glare :flipoff2:

I like the black on black. I got a little road rash on my hood recently, I ran thru a chained off road, jail break style....haha. Actually, I didn't see the skimpy chain until it was too late. I was on an access road that typically is not chained off. Anyways, the hood damage gave me an excuse to have the hood repaired with the center section repainted in Kirker Matte Black. I plan to hit the fender flares (an 80 thing I know) in matte black next.

I'm going back 10 days, rather than a week.
Purchased an 04 LX 470 (friend in Cali checked her out) flew in, double checked, bought, drove back 800 miles.

Registered, after Vin inspection and having the state research the title.

Timing belt and water pump, since the PO went to a non Lexus mechanic and didnt have adequate records. It's out of my comfort zone, so I had the dealership do it.

Balanced the tires since the tundra wheels with k02s or spacers were causing a small shimmy.

Ordered Pfran's led kit, at least got the map lights in. Should be able to get the rest done in the next day or two.

Ordered the motor for the rear passenger side door lock actuator.

Have a wonderful mudder shipping me a replacement rear end cap for the stock roof rack.

Mostly just baselining and making sure it's at 100%

Now I'm shopping for sliders. Leaning towards slee, since it has a slee front bumper. Probably going to order rear mud flap delete kit, since rear bumper isn't high on my list.

Also on the list:
Something like the bt45 so I can more easily listen to podcasts and music from my phone.

Ramathorn15s led puddle light kit.

Getting rid of the aftermarket (or dealer installed) DVD system. It's ceiling mounted, with the deck in the center console.... In the age of tablets I think an extra power supply for the back seats makes a lot more sense. I need to figure out how to get it out, and make it not look like crap.

That sand looks pretty soft and deep, you guys didn't sink in? I'm due for a trip to OBX soon
Just have to air down! I went down to about 15 psi. Most of the beach was hard packed. We only saw one truck stuck the whole day.

Got a text from a friend yesterday, with GPS coordinates.... yep, he's stuck and needs a rescue;)

Trail snow around here gets super snotty after midday and he was literally moving a foot at a time using rocks & his hilift. Hanzo at 15psi and locked barely noticed pulling him through a quarter mile of the slippy stuff, no drama, took some time to hike around a little and have lunch in the woods over the SnowPeak - a great last-minute mini adventure!

Saturday, easy job with jack, hardest part was brake lines on interior drivers side frame...lines on top of ubolt are very tight. Anyone know of a brake line clip that would hold the lines out a bit more? Getting ready for HIH.

moved my screen to the rear and installed this. (replaced a different pioneer in the single DIN slot)

painted all the emblems black and ripped the running boards off the LX470 we bought today! Mudders, wheels etc coming soon!

What size lift did you go with? What tires? Any rubbing when flexed? Great looking rig!

2.5" OME from Cruiser Outfitters. 285/75r16 Cooper ST Maxx. No rubbing

Replaced all door speakers with Kicker DS65. Fronts were totally shot, both rears were intact, but replacing all of them, made me realize how bad the sub is busted! Next weekend is sub swap. Picked up the Pyle some others have done.

Also pulled off running boards = free lift :)

Interior is in excellent shape, only thing that doesn't work is the steering wheel adjustment. I've owned a lot of Cruisers and have yet to have this go out. I'm gonna rip it all apart later this week. Bad switch etc, ideas??? thanks,
