Thanks, any pics of the dynamat?

Here's what the front DS door looked like when done with mine.

nice rack

Thanks! Finally getting it done. The LO-PRO mounts will be in stock this week from the laser cutter and I'll get this mounted. I've held off pushing the 100 racks until the mounts were redesigned.

This one is 1.25" x .072" and 1" x .083" tube. I'll have to reweigh, but IIRC its 72#s

I will only be making racks and sliders starting next year on a regular basis. I will make the occasional bumper for true one-off custom orders. This helps me speed up production on these two things and also will allow me to negotiate better pricing on steel and shipping.

Lots to start on for 2017. Once we get moved I will be adding a CNC Rotary bender, CNC cut table (keep making laser cut items as well) and a smaller CNC press brake. I've held off for quite awhile until I knew exactly what avenue I was going to take. Racks and sliders allow me to reduce the production floor footprint and

My hopes are the racks will be 50-100$ less expensive and possibly free shipping will be the norm.

40 (standard and perimeter mirror racks)
60-62 (standard and pitched Hi-Top racks)
70 (standard and FRP top racks)
80 (misc versions)
100 (misc versions)
200 (misc versions)
Tacoma
Tundra
4Runner
Rovers (RRC, Defenders, D1, D2 & LR3)
Backpack racks
Misc attachment clips (shovel, axe, kayak, canoe, propane, bike and skis)

Sliders for all the above as well.

Removed the OEM sub and replaced it with the Pyle DVC that's commonly used. Also Dynamatted the sub box, wheel well, and interior truck skin while I had access. Sounds much better.

Added Dynamite Xtreme to all four doors (inner and outer shells) and removed the OEM grill cloth / painted the plastic speaker grills. Looks much better, imo...

Hey Crimson, does the Dynamat help significantly with road noise? Have thought about doing this myself, would love to hear some first hand experience.

Took it out to the Blue Ridge Parkway for fall, came back and did the CV Axles, parts from Cruserparts.net. These "OEM Style" CV Axles from them vibrate like crazy from 65-85 MPH under acceleration, I'm very unhappy overall as the price was over $500. I don't think I can afford to pay my mechanic to take them out and put them back in. It's better than the constant clicking, and the old ones were shot, but don't listen to Steven - it's not "OEM Quality" these are from china, came bent, and suck. On a positive note: new pics.

I would take this up with him immediately and demand another set that can actually pass a basic quality inspection. You paid a lot of money for a defective product and if I were in your shoes I would make sure he heard about it from me.

It's slightly (but noticeably) better, but not night and day - much of the road noise comes through the floor and wheel wells, so I'll end up dampening those over time. Definitely worth just doing the doors, though - the speakers sound SO MUCh better now.

@crimsonaudio - that's kind of what I figured but very good to know. I've read up a bit and it seems like the most significant headway will be made by helping out the wheel wells and floors with some material, but that's more of a project than I can handle right now. I'm not much of an audiophile so I'm not sure it's worth my time if sound quality is the primary beneficiary of the Dynamat.

I drove back to Los Angeles from a business trip in Kansas City. Nice drive. So normally when I drive by myself I tend to focus on making good time. This time I tried to stop and see a bit more things along the way. I even stopped at Slee offroad to grab a couple items. I kept cruise control on 65 MPH for almost my entire round trip and I managed to average exactly 18 MPG! I was very impressed/shocked by this MPG achievement. So much so that I had to triple check my math! I took a couple pics near Golden Colorado

and some more around Green River Utah, where I did a little wheeling right near the freeway.

Replaced tires with new KO2 in 285/75/16. Removed and reinstalled 2nd row seats (to check space for bed when camping). HEAVY but bolts came out of body like butter ( helps to be rust free) . Took about 25 minutes for the seats.

When they had the wheels off I had a gander at the brakes, looks like new pads are in my near future :) rotors look great, pads must be made out of hard cheese.

If I go to a semi metallic or ceramic pad will it mess up the braking system on these? I know it will eat rotors quicker, but more stoppy for A big vehicle is worth it to me.

Nice looking.
I see sliders have ~3" setback, is that for fitting front mud flaps?
Do you have they weight of each Bumper front, Bumper Rear, pair of Sliders?
Are sliders LC & LX compatible?

*Sliders are approx 1" short of front and rear wheel well (or 2" to one side- pushed forward or back). I don't run mudflaps. I'll make them whatever length.

*Front bumper weighs 92#, Rear bumper 155# (empty) and sliders are 94# (pair)

*My LX sliders are a 2 support on the DS to clear all the AHC components. PS is 3 supports. Plenty stout.
