Your welcome and it is quite simple. Also if you can find an overhead console from LX470 or newer LC they had the homelink buttons integrated into the console and then you just unplug the old, plug in the new and your good to go. I went this route as my brother happened to have this unit sitting around and gave it to me when he was cleaning up.
I did this a while back also with a unit out of an IS300. I took the easy way and just separated the unit and used the access hole in the old garage door opener holder and mounted the unit sideways and it fits fine. I think I had to enlarge the hole to the side a bit.
Also best to connect it to a switched source vs. constant power as that way if someone breaks your window they dont instantly have access to your garage if you park outside.
When I bought my 100 a couple of months ago, mine was mounted sideways as well. I took the buttons out and now I've been trying to find something to cover up those holes.

Almost all slider designs I've seen for the 100 leave that front section (and rear) exposed. The front is worse because if you have the steering fully locked to one side, the area is completely exposed. This is the 2nd time it's happened.

Off topic, but why is exactly half of your axle housing and swaybar clean and the other half dirty?
It's not, it's just the lighting. My tech changed all the diff fluids a few thousand miles ago when he was replacing the CV boots and spilled some on the housing when he was refilling (fill is on the right rear) so between that and the lighting it looks that way from here. Come on over and you'll see it's filthy all over...

Got my hands on an X2 Power 27F battery to replace my 5yr old EverStart. With no modifications needed, 930CCA, and 195RC it should be more than enough to power everything. I installed it in the middle of a parking lot so I still need to work on cable routing and taping the ground loom. Also looking at some military or marine spec terminals to throw on it since the factory negative terminal has a small crack in it.

Link? Amazon?Installed a rubber mat in the cargo area. Not super thick but for $20 shipped its a good value for a cut to fit mat and the color matches.

^ good mat for the money. I grabbed one of eBay for $19 shipped, price has blown out to $23 now. Talk about price gouging!
^^^ I have a similar mat that came out of my suburban and is now on top of a Weathertec in my 100. One thing you need to watch out for is moisture that gets trapped under that thick rubber. Had this problem in the 'burban, especially in the winter and would have to regularly lift it out and let the carpet underneath dry out to prevent stink and deterioration. The weathertec doesn't seem to seal the moisture in quite as much.
I did this with inspiration from LandCruiserPhil. It only took a few minutes. I posted in another thread but I think this is a good spot for it too.
We had some fun in the OBX before we had to scurry home on account of the tropical storm.
I took my kayak out in the surf, which was a lot of fun. And it was amazing seeing all the confidence my young daughter gained swimming in the big waves, which were pretty impressive all week.
Got some quality time in my Hundy and it was another smooth, trouble free trip.
I have to quick unpack tomorrow so I don't get in trouble for leaving my husband to do it all, then run up to camp with the crew of Gotham City Land Cruisers! I invited my husband, who said: "I'm sure you'll talk in jargon the whole time. I'll stay home."

Had 8 Gamiviti mounts and haven't ordered a rack yet but had 4 Thule bars leftover from my AWD van build so in the meantime up they went. Will be mounting 3 ARB gusseted awning mounts on them this week to see how that goes. Unfortunately I think my Thule Pulse cargo box will hang over the back end, going to try it though. Bonus would be that the bars are wide enough that I can fit surfboards beside a cargo box:

Finally pulled and repainted the cowl grill and windshield wiper arms - they were in pretty rough shape. Quick job, finish isn't perfect, but it looks so much better. Before and after:

Adams Super VRT works wonders on that stuff btw. (VRT = Vinyl Rubber Tire)
