The versatility of these hundos never ceases to amaze me. From highways to exploring some backcountry, crossing creeks and traversing boulders, it does it all (mostly stock).

Can you give more details about the tailgate deck? I don't see it on their website. How does it install? Price? material?

I'm actually in the process of manufacturing these tail gate covers.. have been for the past few months. I'm using a stronger material than cutting board and black in color. I'm about 3 weeks out to getting my first batch from cnc. Here are some pics of the material thickness and the autocad. I had to go back to the drawing board after some feedback from the Bayou City Land Cruisers they apparently did not like the ridges and rather have a smooth finish with the possibility of outlining the carpet around a trimmed circle in the center.

Summer is not the time to go to Mexico. Our dogs always go, just need to carry papers showing all shots are up to date.

Do remember places like Salina Point are in the middle of nowhere and you are on your own 100%. I do not recommend anyone doing this kind of travel in an unprepared vehicle, solo, without excellent recovery gear and tide understanding.

Why not summer? Because of heat or increase in tourists?

I'm not necessarily set on middle of nowhere, but I'd like to see puerto pencasco and do a mini vacation on the beach there.

Yes heat, the last of June is about the last time we will go until October. Many business in the area close during the heart of the summer. Puerto Penasco/Sandy Beach is a great place for a family vacation on the beach.

Got married this past weekend and left my interior lights on while "tailgating" in our venue parking lot with my groomsmen. Spent about 20 minutes explaining why I drive a 17 year old truck to my friends who just don't get it, only to end up trying and jump start it with my buddy
's 2015 Tahoe..So embarrassing, but all operator error! Oh well, we were not driving it away anyway and the new battery went in the next day. My wife also had our cake decorator design a grooms cake I was proud of and most here will appreciate!

Loving the cake. What year is your rig? when I leave my lights on there is some sort of power draw safety shuts everything off, mine is an 01 and it came with that. I've left the interior lights on a number of times, next morning everything is off and as soon as I start the truck they come back on.

Installed a winch on my son's LC

which bluetooth add on did you go with?

Last month I had the heater T's and hoses replaced. Today I had the timing belt, water pump and idlers replaced. I'm good for another 90k or so. Bonus is I have a spare heater hoses, water pump and a serpentine.
