Took my running boards off. Now I think my truck looks sort of...cheap. What to do? Bigger tires? 18" wheels? $liders? PM me.

Yep - it's the wheels and tires. Ditching the running boards (and the goofy flares, if it has them) IMPROVES the looks of a 100.
Example: Stock vs. no running boards, OEM wheels, 33s and a .6" TB nudge

And uhm... maybe think about a bath and little time with a buffer ;-)

Thanks! They are the bumpers from Bump It Off Road Custom Fabrication and Off Road Products for Toyota Land Cruiser - Windsor Colorado

I went to his fab shop in Windsor, CO while I was living down in Farmington, NM. He does some really great work and went above and beyond by rushing the fabrication, as I was in a time crunch. I have the original version of the front bumper, but his new version is pretty customizable.

Glad I picked them up while I was living down South, because I'm imagining it would be pretty spendy to ship those up to Alaska.

I think you are right about shipping! It takes a while to get up there. My dad is up in Homer.

Glad you like Mike's stuff.

We just got some sliders from him as well.

Installed a set of Ironman Foam Cell Pro's on all 4 corners. That was a fun project..... especially the rear set.

Still running the stock rear springs & TB's. I have to say with this set up it rides better than anticipated. Once I get sliders, bumper & winch on, I'll prob be due for TB's.

New Depo 1-piece headlights and plastidip on the grill.

Replaced my 3rd (4th?) coil pack. All have been between 70k and 99k. Think it's time to just replace the rest of them.

Battery took a crap on Friday night. Heard good things about its versatility and picked up the Batteries Plus X2Power 27F. Don't foresee a second battery setup in the wife's rig but a fridge maybe, this should be a good compromise to add something like that.

Installed new speakers. JBL 608C in front. Infinity Reference 6032si in the rear. Sounds a 100 times better. Really couldn't be happier with the speakers.

Also recovered the speaker grills with brown speaker cloth. I wanted cloth the same shade as the dash, but your choices of actual speaker cloth are limited. The brown ended up looking pretty good I think.

Decided to replace my ~3 year old "temporary" homemade sleeping platform and fridge slide with something slightly more professional. One call to @sleeoffroad and an ARB Outback Solutions setup was on the way.

Boxes of goodness strapped to some future firewood

Mounted up a flat roof rack and sliders from Trail Tailor.

Jason @reevesci is a great guy to do business with and a seriously talented welder.

Took the LX off-road for the first time. Had a great time with some fellow mud'ers with 80 series'

They seemed impressed with the capability of a stock 100 with just some tires an the ATRAC system.

I definitely need some bumpers though. I was dragging them around all day.

Added some bling wired to factory fog light switch.

Nice and bright for only two.

Is the rest of your system stock? Did you replace the subwoofer(s)?

Where did you get the speaker cloth?

Yeah, the rest of the system is stock w/nav. I didn't replace the subwoofer. I have a repair kit for it, plan on checking it out this weekend.

The speaker cloth I got off Amazon. The feel and construction of it seems to be exactly the same as the factory cover, just a different color.
