how much did you end up spending for the seaDek?

The tailgate is covered by a thin piece of luan with carpet stapled over it. I took the carpet off by pulling out said staples. Super easy. The whole assemply is held in with body clips that easily come apart. Once you've got the luan separate, measure with the included template materials from SeaDek.com. After that, and once you get the final padding back from SeaDek, it's a simple peel and stick appication. If you mess up, you can simply pull off and reapply. Now that I've got this done, I'm seriously considering doing the entire back of the truck vs. my existing weathertech mat.

Just ordered the template kit. What product did you order from SeaDek?

And did you check into having them customize it at all? Maybe with LandCruiser stamped in it?

Johnny, great idea with the SeaDek. Looks like it came out really well.

In other news, this happened today.

I ordered the 6mm faux teak camel over mocha with a SeaDek Logo. I didn't look into a factory logo, you may run into copyright issues there.

Made a time lapse video of my timing belt replacement:

Finally joined the 90k club after 17 years, cleaned my throttle body and MAF sensor, washed and waxed/sealed for the winter, pulled the spoiler off and checked the third brake light for leaks and tightened the mounting points for the spoiler, had new Nokian snows mounted on my 16s, and fixed my driver's side bellcrank that's been frozen for two years.

Also been getting compliments from a lot of people including random strangers on the sound of my new Doug Thorley catback.

It was a busy week for me and my LX! Got the oil changed for the first time since my ownership, replaced a broken wheel lug on passenger front hub, removed, cleaned, and effectively re-sealed the leaking evaporator case seal above passenger feet, new 33" A/Ts, and a 700 mile road trip to round it off!

I got 5 Michelin LTX A/T2s in 285/75/16. These are pretty mild in comparison to other A/Ts out there, but they're perfect for my currently mall rated cruiser, with a 60K warranty to boot.

I was replacing 13 year old Michelin LTX M/S Originals based on their age and not mileage wear. I can say that the new A/Ts are AWESOME on the highway that's for sure. No off road notes as of yet. There is absolutely NO road noise, they're responsive, and I have this "feeling" that's hard to explain, but it's like I feel more connected to the road as I do in my sporty VW.

Pictures are with AHC set to Normal for reference.

I had a simple remote engine start added.

My LC lives outdoors all winter (and summer) and I didn't feel like climbing into a frozen vehicle every morning and/or scraping ice off the windshield....

THIS IS GOING TO RULE!!!!!! BRING ON THE SNOW!!!! :)
