They did replace couple of the shims to tighten up the exhaust valves on one of the head. They shaved very little off the heads.
Shaved off very little off the heads, but still, a little higher compression? ZOOM ZOOM!!!:):steer:

Oh heck ya.
Isabelle would LOVE that, but she'd rather spend the $$ on buying a R6 crotch rocket. Her Ninja 400 is up for sale right now to fund that habit. Apparently she is now needing 100+ hp over the Ninja 400.

The ex-wife is squarely placing the blame of this "go fast DNA" on my shoulders. Yup, she's right, I do like speed.

You, sir, have set the example. For better, or worse.

Worked on bringing this back to New Mexico from Searcy, Arkansas. 1997 LX450, 264k, no lockers, armor front and rear, rust free, new BFGs, hole in the block.

Have her take a look at the MV Agusta Superveloce. Just outrageous!

I think the dude just wants OBD-II and be cool like the rest of us.

Festivus for the rest of us. Name that show.

BTW, has anyone met this Banjo guy? The monthly breakfast is this sat......just say'n.

Don't have an engine block in your stash someplace?
I just rely on Tank5 to keep inventory on all the $hit I might need some day. He has way more space to hide things. For all i know, he goes into the forest and buries landcruiser parts with a GPS waypoint.

Ali, d%#? it! People are going try hacking my Gia now looking for a treasure map. I don’t have a block, sadly I scrapped one a year ago, ran out of storage space and I didn’t think it would keep well buried in a plastic tarp.

If the weather is ok, I am planning to attend the club meeting Saturday.

I have met @Mauser Virgil a few years back. Still trying to time up a meeting. Won’t be this weekend sadly. Family coming to town

Edit: I’ve also met @Tank5 & @greenthumb79. Gave some parts to @AmericanKing but didn’t meet.

Now that you own an 80, you should be aware of Ali. That is all I will say. Well, except, watch your wallet. :flipoff2:
