I just wish BFG and others would make an AT in a tall skinny. I hear rumors that the Cooper STMAXX is going to be made in 255/85/16 in 2014.

This would be fantastic! Is there any way to confirm this?

I put a 16 hole steel spare on the rear rotor to confirm clearance to all other parts and check backspacing.
I've been looking at the tall and skinnies to replace my BFG AT (265/75 R16). I would put them on the steels but have found none to my liking so I was thinking about 285s.
The prospect of a 255/85 STMAXX is great news.

I cannot remember the forum I saw it on. I was thinking it was portal but cannot seem to find the thread now. SOmeone talked with a rep from Cooper and they told the guy 2014. I wouldn't say it was 100% for sure going to happen but its good that they might actually be listening. I like my 255s do I need them..no. But man they look and preform when I do need them. I came really close to getting the MAXX in 265/75/16 or 235/85/16 before I found my 255 KM2's. I found a few sets of 255 Cooper ST but they were either big $ or only partial sets. i dont see why they do not offer more tires in this size.

Next up I'm sealing up the sunroof and windshield in hopes of a dry cabin. Then maybe an alignment as shes pulling to one side.
