You are a bad influence. I've grown fond of
the slab of bondo just in front of the hinge
sticking up and the Dolly Parton imprint
remains at the front edge. I love the memory
of that UNLATCHED bonnet, covered with
two feet of snow slamming into the windshield.
The roof rack Hellas made some impressive
impressions. Tip....A snow covered bonnet
can stay down below about 50 mph.
Then WHAM.
The bondo was a PO addition so needless
to say it has stood the torture and time
well. Ya know old Gundy has NEVER
been out of the elements...ever.
I love the neck whips locals get when
the old boy rolls by.
It's a slippery slope you propose . 'Bout
time to give him some well deserved TLC.
