sold one,
just about got the transmission and transfer case out of the 99 62 to realize I need to replace the other gaskets, oil pan, front seal, side cover and maybe the timing gear back plate gasket... I dread having to pull the cam to change that one...

then I can get the manual transmission in there,, if I can find an h55 for a good deal I will drop that in, then install some 80 seats and it will be good to go...

Drove the T100 to Columbia to pick up a new dining room table off CL. Took the kids to Riverbanks while we were down there. Had a great time.

Pressed new ujoints into the front driveshaft of the 80, PO did not have zerk fittings installed in the ujoints (hole was there for a fitting) so they were never greased, and thus trash...

Replaced the manifold gasket and gave the manifold a new paint job...so much quieter now.

First drive in 6 mos or so. Got a hard left pull to track down but still grinning ear to ear the whole way. It's nice to be back in the 80.

Lil shakedown run up into pisgah. 100 miles of back road exploration with no real destination other than the journey. Some great sights and weather on a perfect weekend getaway.

Found a bunch of brown gates protecting our forest from us :( but some cool tucked away paths here and there too.

After getting back from skiing in Maggie Valley yesterday I gave the 60 a tune up. All new cap, rotor, o-ring, plugs and wires, along with new PCV valve and a new air filter. You can see the difference between the K&N and the stock....Lowe Toyota has great service and great prices, had it in 2 days.

Switched out the old worn out wipers with a newer version...4runner wipers which hold a 17" blade are interchangeable with the LC...I know that from a '95 to a '02 runner will bolt on. I got mine from LKQ junk yard in Greenville off a 99 and while I was perusing around I came across a 95 and compared the sizes and they are the same and we have an 02 same size...I even lucked out they have an almost new set of Bosch platinum blades on them, and cheap too, 13 bucks for the set. Turned them on and even dry they did not squeak! Now to find an 80 and swap out the rear wiper.

x2 on that I think Cooper is the only one still making tall skinnies what a shame.

I saw some with a 285/85/16 ssomewhere, I'll have to see what brand.

This would be a 35-1/8" tall tire that is 11-1/4" wide. Even taller than the one I found above, but an inch wider.

Changed the oil in the T100. Firs time since I bought it. I could have given a strong talking to the shop that changed it last time. Fought with the oil filter 15 min to get it to budge and I had to go get my 1/2 in ratchet on the oil plug.

I just wish BFG and others would make an AT in a tall skinny. I hear rumors that the Cooper STMAXX is going to be made in 255/85/16 in 2014.

They make a 235/85/16, but only about 32 1/2 in.
