That's awesome! I didn't know you got rid of the 4Runner and got an 80series! I saw you there! Yours a 91-92? Looks like my tent lights are pretty visible lol
Yeah, it's a 91. Been out of the game for a while, but we're back at it again. Your 80 is coming along nicely!

This actually happened last weekend at the Fallout event at Hidden Falls Adventure park in Marble Falls, TX. My truck just sputtered and died while going up a trail. I learned the importance of carrying a spare fusible link the hard way. :slap: Luckily, i was winched and towed back to camp by some really awesome folks. Special thanks to my buddy Dan for driving my arse back to Houston so i could steal a spare link from my brothers truck. and forum member duggy for telling me to check the link.

You need a better camera, you have the most vibrant background, picturesque location readily available to you. Your current camera doesn't do its justices.
It is from my phone, but the resolution is way better on the originals. I don't know if the MUD site downsizes pictures when you post them.

Spent the day with visiting family exploring the windward side. Girls day out with the LC with my sister in law Jenna.

You should'a cruised further north up to Kailua, Lanikai. I spent many a weekends on Lanikai and one of the 10 best beaches in HI. Then rent the kayaks or a SUP right on the way in and make the paddle out to the Mokes. Deff worth it for some great exploring. Follow that with a hike to the pill boxes for more great views and some history in Lanikai.

And lastly don't forget the shaved ice at Island Snow, our Prez's fav stop when he's over in Kailuia.

Finished off the weekend with a trip to Ho'omaluhia. Windy, rainy, and muddy....but was beautiful.

Got the family out for trail #2 in our new rig. Bockman Rd. in Gould, Colorado. Wanted to make sure we caught the changing of the leaves.

Wife also got a chance to drive the Cruiser for the first time.

Good times

It's not the resolution, nor MUD downsizing. It's color fidelity/contrast/highlights of your camera sensor. Sorry I am being critical here, I am a wedding photographer. You have stunning backdrop and subjects, and your composition is no bad. If you investing in a DSLR either Nikon or Canon, I think your post will explore.
Here you can see the small stone on the tires and pigment on the rocks, and it's only a 12mpixel camera, and no post processing.

Helped a buddy install a Forerunner rack, TJM rooftop tent and ARB awning.

My driver-side headlight was acting up, began cycling on and off randomly. Previous owner told me he had installed an HID kit, one of the plug-and-play internet varieties, so figured it was a ballast or something. Popped the hood to check connections anyways and found this.. a duct taped connection! I'm figuring he had trouble with it coming loose and just taped it up? Who knows. Either way, gonna rip the whole HID thing out and go back to halogen for now. I'm not a fan of HID's in reflector housings anyways, kind of a no-no in my book. Currently looking up Slee's up-gauged wiring harness and some HIR1/HIR2 bulbs from Candlepower. If anyone has experience with these feel free to share kindly. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Played around a bit at Hollister Hills SVRA. This was her first real outing after performing baseline maintenance. Performed flawlessly in 100 degree heat with the AC blasting.
