River is low but moving. Sites and springs were surprisingly clean. A lot of people have found out about our secret. Last time I was there it was thrashed. Thanks for helping keep it clean!!!

I believe I am now a professional wrestler after installing the rear axle/arms. It looks soooooo pretty with the new paint on the arms. Tomorrow I'll add the shocks, springs and rear track bar.

I spent waaaaay too long tuning my CB antenna before realizing I had to do it with the cap on :bang:
So I took a break, got some beers and went back at it making sure the cap was all the way on each time I tuned it :meh: All good now and getting a 1.6 - 1.7 so I'm pretty happy about it.
 
Found an issue with the HVAC system.
It seems to me the valve does not close all the way, therefore warm air comes through the vents.
I searched the forum, but all the posts I read were regarding no heat coming in. I'll post a short video later on.

Yes, finally running after 3 weeks. Waiting for parts that were ordered, then rehabbed the cooling system. Now that I have an OBDII reader, I can obsess over my engine temps!

Bought a mobile office, turned it into a winter cabin, and took it to Paradise MI for a base camp to snowmobile from. Built a deck off the back, and went wheeling every afternoon so far. One of our stops was at this log cabin that a friend of one of the guys in my group knows. He's a Ford engineer so we sent him a pic of our Toyotas in his driveway

6 year for me going and 5th year going with the 80. She handled the 6 hour drive like a champ!!!

We were there too. First trip for us in the 80. Handled the dunes very well! Dragged a stuck Super Duty (with trailer), to the beach. No pics, but that guy was impressed. Hoping to get a RTT for upcoming trips.
