Started the tire carrier. Don't have much time, but here ya go. Side brace is temporary till next week, height clears taillight and lisc plate, angle matches window. Correct latch showed up today, instead of Friday. Going to hinge to the right, will clear tailgate when down as well. Figuring out the jerrycan or roto mount today and getting a materials list together for the morning. Need to find a heavy duty 2.5" hinge. Again, not finished. Adding a tensioning bolt to hold the tube tight in the hitch as well. Doesn't move at hwy speeds either. Added a roller to the bottom cause I hate hang ups!

Wiring and re-wiring. Need to get some horizontal switch covers.
Gapped my spark plugs because I didn't realize the ones I got were not pre-gapped like the other ones I was considering getting and was wondering why the idle was a little rougher after replacing the plugs. But after that was sorted out I bumped up the timing to about 5-6 deg, installed a CDL switch, did the pin 7 mod and adjusted my trans cable. Didn't notice much of any change with the timing but the trans cable adjustment has pretty much taken care of the odd slip at slow speeds when getting back on the throttle.
Which one did you go and how is it? I checked out a couple a while back and the ground was coved with spent shell casings.
TC-AB-TC-AB-TC-AB = clear.

Spent a few hours flushing my heater core in an attempt to figure out my no / low heat issue.
After several flushes of the front and rear core, and a CLR bath I'm sad to report I still have little to no heat.

Did you check heater valve?
Have you confirmed that your heat blend valve is moving with the setting on the HVAC controls? I've heard of them failing. You'd need 2 people to do this I guess.

No need for 2. Just make sure it slides ALL the way to passenger side of heater valve on the firewall.

I received word that my 80 was finally going to be released from shipping jail. My company and the shipper have been fighting over what "NET 30" means, and it looks like I'm finally going to get Marjan back.
