I would typically agree. The shaft does have a very small dent. Wheeled the rest of the weekend and when I got home I unloaded it off the trailer and did a 2 hr road trip. No vibrations or issues. As of right now I'm not worried about it
Drove over 1000kms round trip to pick up a M101a2? for $800.00 with new tires which probably cost him $600.00
Also came across a "Mint" 101CDN 1/4 ton very close to where I bought the 3/4ton unit. This one was asking $2000.00 and boy did I come close to grabbing both!
I used my 80 to tow my 1967 Mustang convertible to the local rod shop to troubleshoot my newly rebuilt '95 306 roller motor, wiring and to hook up the dual exhausts.
I just drained my diff soup out of my front differential and extended my diff breathers in the process of doing away with a plugged breather vent.
I also installed a new driver's door gasket.
Both of these were stupid simple, and I don't understand why I put them off so long. If there is a job that isn't even a single banana, these are both it.
First drive after full rebuild of the engine. Thanks to all that helped with this build, including Rob, Sammy, my two children, my wife for allowing me to play in the garage. And To Beno for all the parts and for the dinnertime advice.

Back cargo area is fine for the rear diff. You could run it inside the fender (where the gas fill neck is, somewhere in there or on the other side). The only reason I say this is that way it is out of the way. Doesn't really matter any. Did you do the front diff? The front diff I would vent in the engine compartment.
That looks really cool. But $70?!?! I think mine cost $3 for the fuel filter and $5 for the fuel line. (And I was chastised for spending $3 on the fuel filter instead of $1!!)
