Picked up a new front bumper from Bump It Offroad, put a couple quick coats of paint on it, and went drift busting :steer:

Removed the stock bumper, installed the non-winch ARB, swapped the turn signals and marker light bulbs, and did the disco light mod with the front lights. Looks awesome. Then went out and got into some nasty mud. Works awesome too!:)

Pics or it didn't happen...

Had to make a quick trip out to my property to pick my fishing poles and tackle box/ice chest. Heading to Padre Island National Seashore next weekend with a few other cruiser heads. I have no coastal fishing gear so I'm just going to wing it. Thread in the Austin club house section if anyone is interested.

Where is your "Keep Austin Weird" sticker...

Where is your "Keep Austin Weird" sticker...
I've lived in Austin all my life. Never understood the Keep Austin Weird stickers.

I tried taking the radio out and replacing it as I put new speakers in this weekend but the wiring for the old radio didn't fit my new one so I put the old one back in and now can't hear anything, any advice?

Drove up US50 to ice house/union valley lakes, down wentworth springs road through Georgetown and had a beer at Auburn Aleworks. Checked out some waterfalls and such along the way...

Probably need the aftermarket wiring harness from Metra or whomever. They are usually like $13-15. It plugs in to your factory harness and then in to your aftermarket stereo. As for why you can't hear the old stereo: a) could you hear it before with the old speakers? b) with the new speakers? c) does it power on?

Yes, when I put the new speakers in I could everything fine, and the radio turns on, the sound is just muted really quiet. When I move the radio around it'll get loud, but as soon as I move it back it goes quiet again

I'm not a wiring expert by any means but it sure sounds like a short somewhere. Good luck.
