Assuming they think about it ahead of time......put it in low, yank the e-brake tight, lift left rear corner off the ground. This way, one front wheel can hold the whole truck in place.

Why not just use the fricking Toyota jack? Of course, you should do all the above for that as well, you just don't have half the truck off the ground when doing it.

Rebuilt front axle finally!!!

New drive flanges, bearings, IPOR SS brake lines, plus FZJ brakes....EBC rotors and green pads.

@Florida 80 Dude, being in JV I sure hope that you have entire rooms wallpapered and furniture covered with Python hides :flipoff2:

You guys have snake problems like we have...ummm...what do we have...lack of water :meh:

LOL!!! No kidding! I usually try not to kill anything I'm not going to eat, but a 9 year old was killed by a Diamondback a few weeks before I saw this little bastard on a sidewalk near my house. Needless to say his ass was grass. It made a fun "science project" for the kids skinning it and drying the skin!

This should be the "next thing". Snakeskin seat covers!

Okay, I did set the parking brake after straightening everything out...and I'm actually not sure if the OEM jack is still in there. Pulled access panel open partway, didn't see it, so went to the HiLift.

A couple of weeks ago I took a trip with a friend through part of Central Washinton. Great time, although we eventually had to abandon our planned route due to freakish late season snow.
Few pics from the trip:

(Theron took this last pic while I stoked the flames)

Drew up a new badge for the rear hatch. My original is busted and I have this little CNC table here. So, I'll finish cleaning it up, make one out of aluminum this coming weekend.
Make a couple of them. They'll sell on here easy. I want one!

Taught my wife how to use a Hi-Lift jack.

Checked to see if the stock Toyota jack could be used to change a tire with 285/75/16's... yes it can!

Finally installed front and rear axle breathers, terminated up and over brake booster.
