Not so much "Do with my 80" as "Do to my 80" this weekend... Since I couldn't be bothered to double check the torque on the rest of my caliper bolts the last time I had the jack stands out - I lost a bottom caliper bolt, and the caliper rotated out enough to tie up the wheel while driving. It gouged up the aluminum pretty good this time. I had to use a grinding wheel, followed by a paint stripping wheel, followed by a sanding sponge to clean it up. I'll need to see if I can get it re-balanced, or this guy might end up as the spare.

Also got to admire my latest decal...

And... was pondering what some new meats might look like... These are 275/70R18's that are supposed to be for my wife's Jeep. They're about a 33x11... I'm kind of liking the size. Anyone got some 33/10.5R15's just laying around? :hmm:

Very nice! I did the same thing, the 2 make a great pair.

Got my LX a younger sister as DD.....in matching color! There won't be any flexshot of the LS though. :p

Got some exhaust work done and did some more exploring

Took our Cruiser out to our club event near Calico Ghost town and the wife did part of the Mohave Heritage Trail as I set up the communications base for the event. It had a nice trailer ride back and forth this time because I had to much to haul out.

cleaned out the tracks for the third row windows. so now i can 1. actually completely close the DS rear 2. open them if i want too now.

Wish I had cool options like that. Only dirt roads to explore with signs in Texas say "keep out, no trespassing"
I feel your pain, I grew up in the west then spent two years in Texas and Georgia. I hated it out there. Spending time in the south gave me a great respect for the wide open public spaces in the west. Hopefully people will still be able to enjoy all of our countries public land a hundred years from now.

Loaned my 60 to a friend and the alt died on her. Timed myself. Took exactly 18 mins to take off the old 2F alternator and replace it with a working one. My son just said, "yeah, I'm not doing that dad". :meh:

This jumpstart is officially jump start number 51 since installing my jumper cable mod!!! Woohoo!!!

Uh Huh! Four minutes! Time me!

Detail your jumper cable mod. I have always wanted a setup like that and since you always overbuild, I want to see how it can be done.
