UGH, that's no good! Glad you're okay. Details?
I had been up on the mountain and I hit a stretch of the road with ice, snow and water and from there all went to the hell. I land with my cruiser 20 ft below to the road... The Cruiser did a AMASSING JOB TO PROTECT ME!! No way if I will drive other truck beside Cruisers. Maybe now, because I am so poor, I will take any car, but in the summer when the work will picking up, will be other stories.

Glad you're okay. And lucky. That sounds pretty hairball

@CowboyUp - sorry to hear that... I'm glad you walked out of it alive! What's the assessment on the damage?

Put in a new speedo cable! It was not fun but the truck is better for it :)
Also washed it and took a picture or two.

Also throwballed the dog.

Nice Chuck-It!

x2 I'm also curious about that winch. assuming you haven't used it yet but was there anything that swayed you to it? I had a long winch conversation with Christo the other day and while he was very helpful and informative, I'm more confused over what to get. 10,000 seems like a decent line pull for an 80 (though many say 12,000+ or nothing)

If your on a budget or just want to save some $ I would look at the ENGO 12k. The customer service at ENGO USA is amazing! You break it they will send you out parts to fix it at no charge. I didn't even buy it direct form them either. It has been a beast for me. It is nice to have the extra pulling power of the 12k. It fits great in the ARB also. Just a couple spacers and good to go.

I broke it once because of user error as all the steel cable wound up on one side of the cage and broke it. They send me a brand new motor (case broke) and connector bars for FREE and FAST. Guy said anytime I have a prob just call him and they will send me new parts. No shipping charge either.

So I changed the cable to a Amsteel 80' synthetic winch rope and have done many many pulls with it since. BEST $329 I have ever spent on a winch. I bought it from IPOR.

Replaced a rear ABS sensor. What a complete PITA. Friggin' rust belt trucks! Everything is so much harder to work on!

Got it done, but it took over 4 hours to get the old one out, and literally 40 seconds to put the new one in.

Now have to replace the corroded connector and harness....

:censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor:!!!!!!

I used the Summit Racing Winch Channel Mount Part number SUM-932002. It took some cutting, but my $11 (with coupon) Harbor Freight 4.5" angle grinder knocked it out no problem. I thought I'd need to clock the winch, but the standard "clutch lever on top" position is best. All in all it was an easy install, 1 day of set-up, cutting, and painting the fresh cut areas of the bumper and plate, and 1 day of assembly, wiring, and spooling the synthetic line.

I changed my oil filter because it was leaking for some reason and mocked up my led mounts.

Couldn't do much every day 30cm/12 inches of snow happy to have the 80's only way to get about here in the Alps...

I seriously considered the Engo, it looks like a really nice winch. I ended up going with the X20 due to the 6.6hp motor, the IP68 waterproof/dustproof rating, and the wireless remote. Silly benefits perhaps to some, but they mattered to me. I have a snatch block so, I wasn't put off by the 10K rating though I do understand other peoples feelings on this subject.
