Replaced main engine wiring harness and also took care of the fuel filter while I was there.

Added the incredibly important dash-mounted cup holder and a 60 series hood prop this evening.

^ just don't let sunlight hit them ;)

The set I had in my 60 faded to **** and the buckles disintegrated and the pulls fell apart.

dam you NLXTACY!! now I should cancel the order for the rest of the seats!!! I hate you for saying that!! did it atleast last you 3 years?

Lasted two summers. Looked like ass by then. Kept them on because it was better than the ripped up seats :meh:

Of course I fixed it by replacing the seats with 2008 Lexus RX heated leather seats ;)

Sorry John :(

Those seats look awesome. Build thread for them? How difficult was the fit? Base looks similar. Any pics, etc? Very interested.

I've been slacking. I still need to do my ditch lights. Parts all ready to go just sitting in the garage.

They are in my 60. I have a write up somewhere. I had to cut out all of the seat supports and weld in all new ones plus weld closed all the drilled out pinch welds. It took an entire weekend.

VSV for EGR

I too took the lazy route and kept the original in place, adding the new one in series. I used the OEM part so I still have the option to put it where it belongs in case I have to. We'll see what they say about it come smog time.

CEL turned itself off after the 2nd drive.

When?? We were just up around there Saturday. We are doing another snow with the club New Years day.

This was Saturday around 4pm. I saw a couple of XJ's on my way down. I would love to meet up with the club on New Years Day-

Washed the cruiser, getting it ready for a trip next week.

Put my new emblem on!

New Seats for the front installed and tested - waiting for the Toyota Twill fabric to come in to recover them and the rears.... very impressed with the mounts and the support - they are Corbeau GTS's...... I was going to do Sparco Milano's but they discontinued and I missed out on the last set.... the suede is a nice change from leather(or vinyl..... ) never thought I'd say that.... these would be a great option for Gray interior trucks.... this model does run firm in the support and width but they had other options mike the LC1 that fit.

Also put the new shoes and rims on - 315 MT MTZ's on 17 x 8.5 Fuel Anza's with a -12mm backspacing... perfect fit and I like the look. A bit more rumble but barely than the Dura-tracs...... time will tell but they balanced out well.

It's almost like Christmas !!

off to work on wiring rock lights.....

@RS6tofj80 - I assume the Corbeau brackets provided a mount for the seat belt receptacle? Do you by chance have pics of the brackets sans seats, or maybe just a closeup of where the receptacle mounts?

These actually are the Corbeau mounts which are likely made by wedge ..... I had a set of Wedge mounts for the Sparcos that I sent back - they looked almost exactly like these.... the Planted setup fro the Sparcos I saw were VERY different....

the seat belt mounts are 1/2" holes on a tab about 4" below the seat edge to the inboard...... I still need to source those as my OME setup is going to George with the Procars.....
