Interesting.... so you are happy with it? Any chance it will get hit offroad, or is it protected pretty well?

Very happy. I typically would not do my own oil changes because I just didn't want to deal with the mess. With the valve and the 90deg oil filter adaptor I don't spill any oil at all and oil changes take three minutes start to finish.

The valve sits one inch lower than the stock drain plug. There is so much suspension and drivetrain i

Nlxtcy any photos of the 90 degree filter thingy? Link for the correct valve? I'm tired of buying kitty litter for my 80

Changed my fuel filter & fuel pump filter in hopes of fixing my pinging. The fuel filter was a 2 hour bitch that I'll never do again. Not to mention someone had already replaced it & it looked brand new! The fuel pump sock was a breeze & didn't look too bad.

Got the Baboon resprayed last week!

Are those 62 headlamps? They look sharp on there, love 'em!

Took my brother and nephews on a beach detour after dropping their mom off at the airport. Nephews bitched the whole ride out about the drive and taking forever until we hit the sand and dunes. Now they want a Land cruiser : )

My cruiser had its 200K birthday on Saturday!

To celebrate we did a little off roading. Rolled over the odo on the way to the trail head.

We started near Palm Springs CA and went over the small mountain range into Joshua Tree national park. From there we went to pioneer town between the backside of Big Bear and Yucca Valley. We headed up burns canyon toward big bear then hooked a right at this awesome Joshua tree.

This took us down Rattlesnake canyon toward the hammer trails in Johnson valley but we stayed left before getting there and found a nice camp spot east a bit.

In the morning we headed south up the mountains on the other side of big bear finally ending our trip on hwy 18 between big bear lake and lake Arrowhead.

All told it was about 130 miles with only about 15-20 miles of pavement and my cruiser really enjoyed this little treat for its 200K birthday!

You are going to love it. Put the filter adaptor on and you will have three minute oil changes. I may YouTube my next oil change to show how quick my oil changes are now. :grinpimp:

The filter adapter mod is a definite todo at some point. The fumoto valve is awesome! Thanks for recommending it here. It's going to make oil changes in the future almost fun...almost. ;)

One thing I just picked up for changing oil is this bad boy: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000F64S7U/?tag=ihco-20

A little pricey, but I can position it so it captures all the oil...from the drain valve and anything that spills out while removing the filter. It's big enough that I can do several oil changes before needing to head down to the recyclers. Also saves me the hassle of transferring oil between containers, etc.

I got something very similar, but round, at PepBoys for $30. I also got a 5-gal pail that I can just pour it all into.

We also helped out some local boys in a cherokee that had lost a wheel. The car fell on them while they were changing it out.

I recovered from the past weekend. Pulled the front carpet and gave it a good washing. Moved the alarm box from under the driver's seat to under the center console. Put it all back together.

Took the family about half way up Rocky Gap Trail (and realized how nuts some of you serious rock crawlers really are), grabbed a geocache along the way, struck out on another geocache that was too well hidden. LOL

Installed an amp on the factory sub bracket and set a 12" Pioneer in a portable box until we build a permanent box to fill out the space where the stock sub went.

Is that Haspin?
I ran that part of the trail... ATV with a passenger tried to pass me, he got stuck and almost rolled his ATV into my truck. Very annoying!
