I too use PVC

I was also using a piece of PVC, but while at a crawfish boil, they needed something to stir the pot with, so I had to give it up. Now I use a length of 1/2" galvanized pipe. One day I'll get some new struts!! One day......

I replaced a fistfull of hard old vacuum lines with bright blue silicone. I then wondered why I'd only bought 4 feet of vacuum line and ordered some more. Got everything on top of the intake and throttle body area, whole EGR system, didn't get the stuff under the TB or the PAIR system and probably some other things.

Seems to run smoother but that could be just my mind. some of them were pretty loose tho.

Also installed my ebay catch can. Bolted to the throttle body above the ignition coil. Not entirely happy with how i plumbed it. Going to adjust again tomorrow.

So this is a "which came first-the chicken or the egg" kind of question..... lol.

Dude! That was awesome!

Changed out my broken door lock actuators and installed my lift springs. Life got better.

Kayaking

Took my son and a friend of his down to the rock bar at the back of the farm for some kayaking (no, not that kind of rock bar). This is down on the Kentucky River which is mostly steep muddy river banks or limestone cliffs unless you are lucky enough to have access to a dock, one of the sandbars or rock bars.

We had a dock at one time many years ago but one of the floods swept it away. The unfortunate thing about the Kentucky River in this area is you can not keep anything much nicer than a plain dock down on the water. A camp trailer, shack or boat will get ransacked or just torn up for fun.

Damn Chris, those look good. Should have had that guy build mine. ;)

Cool sliders, something different that is for sure! Care to share the details?

2x4x 3/16 rectangle tube with 2" .120 dom, radius'd to that shape :D... the radius'd stuff was some left overs from work... 1 1/2" braces to the frame and from the 2x4 to the tube... designed and welded up by me...
