It was sitting around...

:meh:

...and at 250k miles it was starting to show its age.

Chris's answer is probably closer to the truth...

:)

Yep, I think I know that feeling...

Woke up yesterday morning to my wife screaming that the garage was on fire. It was already to far gone to do anything but watch it burn. Lost my HDJ81, the parts truck, my snowmobile, and the wife's car that was in the driveway, and everything inside. Probably the worst day of my life

We are in a hotel for now due to smoke in the house. Not sure where I'll go from here. Thankfully everyone is OK, and the house was saved. Fire investigator feels it started in my truck, but I have no clue how that could be.

Not the greatest anniversary we've celebrated to date.

Terrible news... glad to hear everyone is okay and that the house was saved though.

^^Fires are very scary, and obviously dangerous. Grateful you and your family are around to tell the story^^

So glad everyone is OK. That's terrifying... Hope for a relatively quick return to normal for you guys. I was just reading your HDJ81 thread the other night, sorry to hear that you lost your Cruiser. :frown:

Best wishes for you and your family. Sorry to hear the loss of your toys. Hopefully you will do well with your insurance.

Ummmmm....jealous! Let us know how they perform.

So far I like them.... Light snow last night and it handled great. No challenge for these beast.

I am so sorry to hear that. I don't even know what to say...

I'm sorry to hear that news.

Thank goodness you and your family walked out fine... That's the most important thing, the rest are material stuff...
I know you've worked hard on those, but you'll get back up in no time...

I hope that you'll get a quick turn around on the insurance as well...

I see people spending $200-$250 on JDM 2nd row seat recliners. I can't see myself spending so much on something that I can make myself. So awhile back, I read somebody that made his own. That person did a great job, but he used bolts to hold it together. I upped that and welded mines to assure that it wasn't going to break.

Reason for doing this mod is because my sons car seat doesn't glove the chair and when he sleeps I can recline the seat so he can sleep comfortable.

Wanna say Mahalos to Mike(swapping the rear seats with me), Nick(letting me use his welder), & Kyle(for welding it up).
