Thanks guys. I have never won anything but I think i won on this one. I really don't want to say how good of a deal i got on it. ;)

But, i need to install it first and make sure everything works right before i speak too soon.

Bigsky,

Is this up near Glacier, by chance? Not really familiar yet with MT as I've only been here since the summer. Looks like a great time though.

I took my father-in-law ice fishing/camping

Nothing to big this weekend. Put new steering damper on and then installed the adjustable upper control arms for the rear.

Ian, Sorry for your losses. At least it was only "stuff" and not people. That fire looked like it could have gotten out of control very quickly.
Hopefully insurance comes through for you.

A few small projects knocked out. First, changed out the upper radiator hose that was seeping and added about 1/2 gallon of fresh Toyota red. Second, installed new OEM belts, the old ones were squeaking something fierce.

Weekend camping trip in less than two weeks....

Installed a new O2 sensor (front). I tried to install the back one as well, but one nut was NOT going to have it. I am now searching for someone local who can cut out the O2 bung and weld on a new one. Sigh.

Truck is running smooth and strong though.

Not too far from there. That was out at Willow Creek just west of Augusta.

Thanks to all for the well wishes and support, it means a lot in what has been a very tough period for us. We are living out of a hotel for the next week or so while the house gets cleaned, there is some smoke damage from the fire so all the insulation in the attic has to be pulled, everything sealed and re-insulated, the house needs cleaned top to bottom, air purifiers, etc. We hope to be back home for the weekend, but we'll see. The fire melted the power line as it was routed over the garage roof, so I had them upgrade the house service to 200amp while they were at it, and power was back late Friday night. They brought in a generator to keep the furnace running as it was around -18C for a high that day and pipes can freeze quickly with no heat.

In some good news, we found a replacement for the wife's car last night, a very clean '04 Lexus GX470 premium, 133,000kms, silver with beige interior. Hope to have that for the weekend as well! Hopefully it won't need much work as I won't have a garage till mid-summer by the looks of things. I'll be addressing a few shortcomings in my old garage during the rebuild as well, so I have that to look forward to.

Sad to hear about your losses but at least everyone is ok. Hopefully you have some good build threads here in case they give you a hard time on value and you need to show documentation of what your rig had on it.

Transported a few Scouts to a Gulf Coast Beach for a camp out :)

Ian sorry for your loss. You can always replace your toys, but never replace your loved ones. Take care and god bless. Aloha

Removed thermostat housing, broke two bolts, ordered a new bottom housing and all coolant related hoses. Also removed water pump. Will replace with new when I get my shipment of stuff from Sam Stewart. Should be back on the road this week. Can't wait to wheel with the new 33 KM2s.
