Finally covered the holes left over from the Sombrero removal on my rear hatch with something.

My entire herculiner/sticker expedition started when someone ripped off my Full Time 4WD, Land Cruiser, and Toyota symbols.

No more holes in my hatch

Decided it was time to change my motor mount. Little did I know how severely it actually needed to be done.

explored some new trails, mapped them with my cool app on my phone (MotionXGPS), tested out the new fridge and the RTT. Also, found some wild trout streams and wet some line.

The camping looks fantastic! Do you mind sharing where you went? (no hard feelings if you want to keep it secret)

You had snow up there? I am going up there (Outside Superior towards Iron River, Wi.) tomorrow from Minneapolis but didn't think there was much snow. Looks like a blast! And of course driving the LC.

Had snow fall Friday and Saturday for a fresh 4-6". There was not much of a base but we ended up on some back trails that had not been used in awhile. We were the only rigs in the park.

No problem, i don't mind sharing. This area is known for it's trout fishing and hiking. It's the Wilson Creek area, or Brown Mountain area. It's just off the parkway from Boone and Blowing Rock in the mountains of North Carolina. Do a map search for Mortimer NC and you will be right in the middle of it.

Great pics! How is the wheeling North Carolina? Are most state parks open to public with trails available?

^^Amazing pics, lowers my blood pressure just lookin out at that fishing pole^^

actually guys, it's getting pretty bad around here in regards to trails and them being gated or tank trapped. We used to have some amazing wheeling where you could drive on a old mountain logging trail that was a good mix of easy and really difficult for a day or two and not see anyone. Now most of those are gated or they have dug huge tank traps to block access.

It's really unfortunate because honestly most of these trails that i had been on did not show signs of real abuse like people would stereotype.... you know the moonshine redneck guys blasting up the hills in their big fords! Those guys do exist but they don't really destroy the trails.

The pics from above were from me looking at topo maps and seeing "jeep trail" marked between forest service roads. When we finally got to the trails we had scouted, they were all gated. All of them except one, and that's where those river pics are from.

Well that stinks. Here in Ct. everything was open when I was a kid (15 yrs ago) Now there is literally nowhere to go.....that is legal anyways.... My son is almost two yrs old and he will miss out on the fun I had on open land....well only if I cant get a huge piece of land that has been on my wish list....at the end of the wish list but on there..

Installed a new A343F, new safety switch, new motor mounts, and a rebuilt, PT'ed, low-geared HF2AV.

Hey Beno
What lead up to the replacement of the tranny? I am evaluating my options on mine.....
